Headbutting Bugs in Orgrimmar Vision

Hey guys. Got a bit of a beef here. Failed two visions this week because of these bugs.

I’m aware that they can knock you out of the safety zone, so I made sure to have my back away from the edge of it. I was booted into a little crevice between the building and the ramp leading up to Rexxar. Couldn’t get out of it. Just stuck on a sanity draining puddle until I died.

Failed another because I was trying to get out of something and put my back briefly to the edge of the zone. My beef is like, why do you get stunned when you go outside of it? There’s a warning to get back to safety, but if you’re stunned, you can’t do anything.

More frustrating, after you die, and get resurrected by the ability, I was still stunned, and just died again.

This is beyond frustrating. Why do the visions even have these barriers? Why even allow the player to go through them? If you’re going to keep them, give me a chance to get out of them after being knocked into them.

I will admit, I wish there were some “walls” in these things. Like, if I get knocked into mobs? Sure my fault, but knocked into small areas I hope and pray to get out of through a pixel perfect jump?

That happened to me as well, I’m now extremely careful around those 2 mobs.

Seems like a learning experience. Or as my daddy used to tell me, bet you won’t do that again.

Actually the same thing happened when I was trying a solo 2 mask run. Didn’t even know they did that because I usually group with my key group when doing these.

But the next time I tried, I made sure it didn’t happen again. Just chalk it up to a learning experience like Drewbeary said.

Think of it as a one shot mechanic and always fight mob with back towards safe area. You can also SS or Grapple back as soon as you get knocked back.

As a Monk, I always drop a transcendence at that guy just in case, since he’s knocked me into those void areas before (never got stuck in one though).

All fair points. Just to add:

  1. There’s not really much to “learn” other than that you shouldn’t have your back to the zone wall when fighting the bugs. With that lesson in mind, I specifically kept it away from the zone wall, and was still knocked into a hole between the ramp and the building I didn’t know existed. I can’t learn about things I don’t know are there. Such things shouldn’t even be there in the first place.

  2. Again, why are there permeable zone walls? Why not just have these be impassible?

  3. If you’re going to have them as they are, why stun players that go through them? It warns you to get back to safety and then doesn’t give you the opportunity to do so (because the mobs are still stunning you…)

  4. The revive ability really needs to come with a brief stun immunity. I’ve died twice outside the safety zone, been resurrected outside it twice, stunned twice, and died again. Twice. Give me a chance to get back to safety.

I just completely fail to see what good these walls are bringing to the experience. Get rid of them. Or get rid of stuff that knocks you through them.

This happened to me once and the only way out of it was being fear pathed up the wall which you otherwise cannot walk up yourself.
