Eldrethana’s post that you initially replied to just stated someone can interrupt eye beam cleave with a stun to contrast it with BM/Arms cleave which has little counter play. You then replied in a rude and condescending tone telling him how to play.

I just stated that it is nothing new that some classes are susceptible to counter play and that DH has changed to be a tiny bit more skill based, so he might just try to protect his burst in real setups, which he didn’t had to in the past.
Then he replied with “Thanks for your 1600 pro tips”. After that I started to be less nice.
What’s your xp so we can all be like " Yeah, that guy has a clue".

As BM or Ret I dont fear fighting DH, but they aren’t worse than Average Vs specs that have to cast a lot to do damage.

DH has tons of mobility, micro cc, cc, defensives, and cc immunity frames.
DH needs slightly more damage agreed, but if you’re dying as a DH typically it’s against a Rogue in a stun lock because you overextended or didn’t trade defensives/trinket properly and wound up getting crapped on while your heals was in a cc or on the other side of the map from you.
DH’s have ran rampant typically 3 outta 4 seasons every expansion since their release. It’s nice to see them get knocked down a few pegs for once.
Agreed, Feral/Bm still need big nerfs.

According to Wowarenalogs Havoc DH literally has one of the lower first blood ratios out of all specs in the game with a 31.4% first blood death rate.
And this is despite BM and Feral, Jungle as a comp is absolutely cranking right now.
DH defensively is fine, their burst is still solid, maybe on the lower end, but their cleave and tool kit makes up for it entirely.

Went into a game on my dh last night, they left me alone to first two matches and it was an easy win for me to blow up the dps. Once they started tunneling me I didn’t win another round. It was a Devoker, ret pal spriest
Come to think of it, I don’t remember the last time I’ve seen a dh in the arena. I’ve seen them in blitz and they don’t seem terrible there, but they’re nowhere to be found in arena.
This might have to do with the fact they’re in a really bad spot, or most dh players just rerolled BM hunter because no one actually mains dh and aren’t willing to suffer a season where they’re not S tier.

Considering the state DH is in right now, no, setting up CC for a single go will not grant you 2400 like it’s nothing. You have to manage a lot more than that to get elite.
The ONLY thing I said I think is bad on DH is the sustain damage. Its burst is great and it defensives are as powerful as ever. Go read through my posts where I say this over and over, or don’t and keep being a dnozzle for no reason.

As quoted above, you did not say that. You condescendingly spouted off about pre-CC’ing a go, which is something most people learn by 1600 rating in any season other than Unchained.
And this is also how I know you haven’t played or played against DH beyond season 3 of DF because you’ve constantly had to cover your eyebeam goes with CC. Eyebeam used to be kickable and you didn’t want to get locked on chaos so you couldn’t do your meta abilities or CC.

They’re not that bad, stuff that’s just hard to fight (BM, fury, feral, frost, and rogue) is strong right now so DH rep is down. If that weren’t the case I bet you’d see more since getting damage out as a DH has never been easier. It’s front loaded in a really easy way that you don’t even have to “aim” anymore like essence break.

The amount of Ragnaros and Quelthalas Demon Hunters I see in skirms is a good proxy for their strength. Currently I would rate them at “very strong”.
