Any fear that you might get stuck at 5/7 means the raid needs to be more accessible to the average player.
Thereâs absolutely no way you think the raid needs to be easier. People just need to actually turn on their monitor while playing
GS at level 25 cap is very meaningless. The difference between level 23 to 25 of the monkey year or w/e stat stick greens and pre raid bis are pretty small for most classes.
Half of the items people equip in trinket/neck slots greatly inflate ilvl/gs with absolutely 0 effective difference on player power in raid.
GS gates are the only things i see people complaining about and it is pretty dumb at 25 cap in sod.
I think once they changed it so the raid isnât punished for bringing casters itâs fine now.
My discordless pug only wiped on Kelris because we had the rogue die in the first 5 seconds and no one else did interrupts.
Nice little bit of challenge where you might need to put down the beer, but still able to get a few sips during the fight.
you must have a very low opinion of the âaverage playerâ if you think most people with a little effort and alot less laziness and entitlement cant clear the raid.
but please by all means insult your fellow players abilities .
maybe you cant and are projecting it on the âaverage playerâ .
i would agree with you its kinda silly but bleh if thats what the raid maker is requiring you dont have to join their raid and are free to think they are silly for asking.
The fact remains, if the standard LFM advertisement insists on 7/7 experience, 350+GS, all consumes and all world buffs, then the raid isnât in a good place. This means the average person LFM has a fear that the average player wonât make it to 7/7. I personally think itâs easy, but this is the objective litmus test.
they clearly are not looking for the average player at all with that message . they are looking for pumpers to make it an ez clear with no trouble at all.
which is fine.
you dont have to join that group.
No, itâs every LFM. The average advertisement.
thats a bit hyperbolic and not the truth at all.
i watch lfg chat as a fun thing just seeing the silly things people post in there sometimes like its oldschool barrens chat and i dont see people posting anywhere near those requirements.
Basically every group now in lfm is 7/7 exp come org or stormwind check gear check front check back check consume check boon check pot.
People think every pug that forms should be open to anyone. Now, I donât agree with some of the ridiculous requirements I see posted in /2 but, I also know how to form my own groups to dungeon and raid with. So, Iâd say the ones openly complaining need to shut up and form their own groups.
the boon buff goes off so regularly at all times of the day that ive never sat in tb longer than 5 mins on any of my 3 characters and not had the buff and we can boon it which makes it super ez to get.
expecting people to have some semblance of decent gear is not a horrible thing to ask either cause if you have gear you are way more likely to be able to meet the clear dps check of the 6th boss.
you can also do 1 quest at level 25 (even a green quest) and get enough for 2 attempts of pots (4 pots) .
simple things that if you are playing the game at all you should have if you are trying to progress your character at all.
if you cant do those simple things and still expect to get in a group and be carried i dont know what to tell you.
Personally I know when my groupâs standards are low when the raid leader says to make sure to jump off with the debuff on the first boss, and then is the only one not to.
hehe i hate it when people do that lol.
ITS A BIG BLUE SWIRLY THING JUST LIKE THE BARON BOMB DO YOU NOT SEE?
It does mean they have no life (and theyâre very susceptible to group think.) They want to play with others just like them⊠Theyâre The Borg. You will assimilate.
The entitlement of anyone who thinks another player owes them anything is one of the more insidious aspects of WoW. Much more so than expecting said people to actually carry their own weight. Raid leaders arenât your loot servants. Make your own group if you donât like it.
I made this comment in another thread and I feel itâs worth repeating:
If I host a cocktail party, I am fully within my right to kick out the lazy leeches that show up in jeans and a tshirt.
Unnecessary really. Itâs level 25, ten man content and isnât overly difficult. Sure, go ahead and nitpick your groups if thatâs what you enjoy. Iâd pass on asking for an invite though, even if I met all of your requirements. I donât enjoy uptight players and would shop for a different group.
sure as opposed to bowing down to people who put no effort into progressing a char they play in game and expect to be invited and handed loot ?
how very entitled you must be.
