Druids are just fun - out in the world at least. I’ve tried a few other MMOs, and tried coming back to WOW once in Legion, but it was all pretty short-lived. Nothing, for me, has been half as enjoyable as playing a vanilla/TBC druid and learning to use its full toolkit. That’s what’s bringing me back for Classic.
If you’re focussed on raiding though… not so much. There’s always the satisfaction of performing a role well, getting gear, and progressing. But the actual play is pretty joyless if you’re stuck just spamming heals and dispels (as most raiding druids will be). I’ll probably dip my toe into that for a little while, but it’s not what I’m playing for, and if it was… I’d choose a different class.
