I change things around here and there, but I always gravitate back to this Orc Rogue and my Dwarf Hunter.
A couple times, mained my hunter from when i started in cata until the throne of thunder patch where I discovered my love for brewmaster tanking. Went mistweaver for wod and didnât swap away from her until end of uldir/beginning of BoD when I decided I needed a change from healer and wanted to dps on this druid.
My first main was a Hunter, lasted about a year. I got bored and swapped to a mage. Again I got bored and switched to Enhancement. I mained an Enh Shaman from Wrath to Legion. The changes to Enh in Legion (I understand a lot of people liked them) just ruined my Shaman for me. I wasnât having fun anymore and nearly quit WoW all together until I fell in love with Havoc. At present I have two toons I main, Havoc DH and Blood DK.
To the OP, Iâm still very much attached to my Shaman. Iâd go back to Enh in a heartbeat if I could enjoy it.
I donât have a main, I play at least four classes at the same time.
Yes. Breaking up is hard to do.
Nope! Carissaria forever!
I started off as a Ret Pally at the end of MoP, played him as my main till the Legion class changes ruined him.
Swapped to a Windwalker monk as my main from then till about midway through BoD? Then I started playing my druid as an alt just for fun and was surprised to find that iâm better at Boomy than WW .-.
Anyway, Iâm hopeful that maybe someday Ret will be fun again so I can go back to what I consider my real main character, if they fixed it to be engaging again iâd run back in a heartbeat
Many times. It all depends on how much a class changes with each iteration of the game. Played a rogue and mage in equal parts Vanilla through BC. Swapped to DK in early WotLK because I loved the class flavor, then went hunter for ICC during the arpen glory days. Then fell in love with blood tanking and stuck that out Cata through the beginning of Legion.
Took a long hiatus during Legion, but when I came back I wanted one character for everything instead of a bunch of different alts, so druid seemed sensible. Loved that all the way to the end of Legion, but wasnât psyched with what happened to guardian in BfA. Iâve stuck with balance and played this guy most so far this xpac, but Iâve been spending some time on my paladin and itâs reaaallly appealing.
Itâs hard to switch though. Odd how much sentimental value pixels can carry.
No. The closest Iâve come is I raided with Tovi in Wrath and TBC. My BM Hunter has been my main since 29 Nov 2004.
Yeh. For BFA Iâm a balance druid.
But Iâll be back.
Iâve always mained a Druid at first it was a nelf now itâs a troll.
Yes.
Mage -> dk -> warrior -> mage -> demon Hunter.
I change every 2 or so xpacs.
Yes Iâve created a new main once because I wasnât about to be nickel and dimed for server transfers when it literally doesnât cost them anything to do it. All of Blizzardâs âservicesâ are overpriced gouging and should be included with the monthly fee imo.
Like 5 times just this xpac.
Iâll probably either main a Resto or Disc. Thatâs the main thing Alliance is lacking right now in PvP and thatâs heals.
On average, I change mains every 2 to 4 weeks. I play every subclass.
My main from vanilla to WotLK was a Tauren Druid. When Cata came around I switched to a Goblin Shaman, who was my main up until BFA. During Legion I had actually leveled one of every class to 110, so I decided to try a different class for BFA and went with the Tauren DK Iâm currently using.
I mained a Dwarf Shaman during WoD (Oof), Blood DK during Legion, started BfA maining a Dwarf Paladin until my RP guild died and lowered my interest in playing him.
Eventually I just went to this burly MFer.
/flex
I have been a night elf rogue ever since BC and have never bothered with anything else sinceâŠ
Never changed mains, feels better to me, although Iâve race/faction changed many times since way back in vanilla.
I just donât think any other job could offer anything better and I dislike FotM chasers⊠every time you see a druid running around gathering in a sky golem you just wish theyâd go back to their main. I may just be a grumpy old man though.
