Have the graveyard spawns in AV always been so one sided?

The problem is not the map, the problem is the alliance players

Blizz cant fix defeatism

The IBGY strategy works, but it takes effort and dedication. Dont expect 7 minute wins like the alliance used demand, its at least a 1/2 hour worth of work to into ensuring a victory.

Except it doesn’t work, alliance either have get lucky and have horde not play any D or get onto a significantly better team.

Love his comments at 6:05: “take the loss.” Also, " . . . go afk at this point." LOL

His strat is basically, “GO LEFT GO LEFT GO LEFT!”

So glad you posted this because NO ONE HAS EVER THOUGHT OF THAT BEFORE!!

Dude its the same youtuber for both videos, he’s offering a winning strategy for Alliance players. If you choose not to act on his advice then it only proves that the problem people playing the alliance characters, not the map

Get IBGY…thats the goal

It’s not a winning strat unless the Alliance play perfectly and the Horde are dumber than a bag of dirt.

Go left to IBGY… REALLY?? This is totally NEW and Alliance have NEVER TRIED IT!! EVER!!

Except every game.

Again its the same youtuber you’re using to ‘defend’ your argument, he’s offering victory on a silver platter

You just have to take it.

It does work , bit it takes effort and focus.

If it weren’t possible then it would be happening, but since it does happen it can be repeated. Ergo Alliance players should learn from the lesson given by the Alliance player as mentioned how to win. buts it easier to complain on the forums about phantom non-existent ‘problems’ than execute a wining strat.

This is Wow, the path of least resistance for many alliance players is to whine than try.

Neither of the conditions it works on have anything to do with the strat being good. Horde choosing not to defend doesn’t mean the strat is good, it just means horde are allowing it to happen. Getting a team that’s several times better than horde also doesn’t mean the strat is good, it merely means you got good team RNG.

“The other team capped the flag first, its 1-0. Why bother? Just give up, the score imbalance is too much to overcome. This why no one plays WSG.”

Capping the flag in WSG does not make things signficantly harder for the other team.

Uh, no he isn’t. Did you even watch the thing?? Do you think Alliance haven’t TRIED TAKING AND HOLDING IBGY?? Really??

You must live on another planet.

Every strategy in this game has been tried. Every single one. There’s nothing new under the sun in this entire expansion. There’s no mystery. There’s nothing new to discover.

It’s absolutely ludicrous that you’re sitting in this forum telling Alliance they need to get south to win. It’s crazy.

Speak for yourself.

I already explained to you why that doesn’t work… If you in your ignorance won’t listen I don’t know what else to say. And to say that alliance has to toil and struggle just to “get” to the enemies nearest graveyard as a complete unit while the other side easily caps one and then moves on to a second in less than 90 seconds at the beginning of the game is just so silly. you’re really just not willing to listen to reason.

Also… one dude’s video is not going to make my life experience and the experience of everyone else I’ve queued with recently’s invalid. It’s just one’s guys opinion… just because he made a video about it doesn’t mean it’s true.

Maybe. But it’s not true to vanilla. And If intentional it’s foolish, because there is an alternate way south out of DB to use offensively while holding the bridge advantage.

I can tell you outright that Horde played “scorched earth” in vanilla.

The argument that we allowed you to cap and hold anything south is ridiculous.

I think “right next to” is not quite accurate. Also consider you have to run south west out on foot then mount and head back north.

My point is, I’m not sure it’s significantly faster than rezzing at SF, immediately mounting and heading north. I’m not opposed to cave changes BTW, just want to play AV again.

What may come into play is the 20 man res thing but I feel that’s somewhat rare.

ya, it may have been a thing back then but I don’t remember it. Either way, that’s not how it is now. But ya, what happens at mid post horde getting there in 15 seconds versus alliance getting there in 45 is fairly moot to the point of this post. the point of the post is based around just that… the 15 to 45 second disparity.

Nope. They started playing scorched earth in TBC. Blizzard saw the problem and fixed it.

Math, distance, time. It’s all measurable.

Hey, can we get a clear and concise definition of what alliance players are calling “scorched earth”?
