They have been there long but, ans this is a big but, to the locals the dragons are gods. Kinda.
I’d argue to the djardin they aren’t, of course, but to the Drakonids? They were uplifted by them and serve them. To the Centaur? They worship Ohna or whatever but clearly are in a junior role. The Tuskarr are chill but have no political role.
For the settled races they just fall back into the subservient/allied role. Doesn’t help that the dragons have an army of Dragon Men and that their upkept capital requires wings to get anywhere important.
Honestly even in their own zone I don’t see why the centaur call their lands plains. It’s so damn hilly and mountainous I’m surprised they thrive there.
