This. I am always super excited when I see a pet and mount combo…then I read that the pet is in classic only with no hope of getting it in Retail. Please, Please blizz…give us both pets and mount in retail! or at least let us choose which game to give the pet too.

I kept relogging thinking it would be in my inbox or collection. I restarted BNet and had to click the little gift icon to claim the mount.

For real. That’s one of the things I hate with these subscription-based rewards, that some things are only for one game while the rest are for the other.
Being a dragon collector, I would have loved to add the Nightmarish Emerald Drake to my retail collection. But alas, that one was only for Classic.

Why not just give everything to both Classic and retail? That way we’re all happy.

TBO, even if it was only the pet and it was in retail I might be swayed. I guess I’ll hold out for the Trading Post.

I have both and just popped on and off of both of them to check. The may have used the same base but they look really, really different. It’s hard to compare the delicate wispiness of the Celestial Steed with the heavy war horse build of Invincible.

Were up to Cataclysm Classic now. There’s no more need for Classic-only battle pets to be low-poly.
