I don’t see why they would. It’s not like Anduin’s just some random guy that Bolvar appointed King. It’s a hereditary monarchy. He’s King because his father was.
Again, I don’t see why. Taelia was raised in Kul’Tiras away from Bolvar. She never had a relationship with him even before he became Lich King. Even if she had, it’s not like Bolvar just walked up to Icecrown and submitted a job application. The only reason he took the Helm of Domination was because the only other options were to let the Scourge run rampant or let Tirion take it.

I personally hope it’s someone who’s been around a long time, like Valeera. If it’s Taelia then she was essentially only invented for BfA to give Anduin a Queen, which makes her character less interesting imo.

Agreed. She’ll just be Aggra 2.0. Who knows? Anduin might be set up with Vanessa VanCleef. Sure her dad was the reason why Anduins mom is dead but together they both lost a father.

Sure Blizz may ship Anduin and Taelia but that’s not going to stop those dedicated Wrathion-Anduin fanfic writers from dropping that ship.
And as for Wrathion’s new model…good job whoever did the update. Please also have him have a smoking dragon form and not just reuse the supersized whelp form from MoP.

This whole revival of Anduin and Wrathion being shipped remind me of South Park where they kept making Yaoi pictures of Tweek and Craig.
I hope he does keep the whelp form. The single best part of the legendary cloak quest in Mists was watching him make some grandiose speech and then turn into a whelpling and flutter away. It was hilarious.

Well, if dragon years are like dog years, then those 5 years means he’s 35 dragon years old. The perfect age to be the new high king of the Alliance!

Wrathion was born around Cataclysm which makes him about 10 right? I think each expansion takes place 2 years after each one. Anduin is like 18 which makes him a predator.

Given that the last few expansions have been about a year long lorewise (one year passing in Azeroth even though two happen out here), I’d say that there might not be enough expansions left for Anduin to start meaningfully dating if that happened.
Yeah, as serious as he is when in human form when he turns into giant whelp that seriousness is destroyed in one fell swoop.
Matters of the heart? She is nothing more than a baby maker. Clearly his heart is with Wrathion.

Dragons live an incredibly long time, so the “dog years” argument doesn’t work. Since that’s measuring a dog’s maturity compared to a human’s. Dragons live an incredibly long time (I actually can’t say one way or another if they’re immortal). So that makes Wrathion even younger in Dragon years. Drakes are juvenile dragons. If Wrathion was a Drake I could see it but he’s an infant.
This stuff is gross.
It’s like those 10 year old, skimpy anime dragon girls that “are actually 1000 years old! No, really!” but in reverse.

If Anduin is shipped with anyone it has to be good for the lore.
-Yrel: In books, Anduin did say he had attractions towards female Draenei and I did watch a Pyromancer video talking about how the Light will corrupt the Alliance and I thought of her.
-Tess Greymane: Yes she and Anduin didn’t wanna marry but have the Gilneans done anything to take their home back? Genn will probably die and someway she’ll end up marrying Anduin.

The fact that we don’t know means the monarchy will likely be satisfied.
If we did know, Checkov’s Gun would dictate the succession comes into effect and Anduin dies terribly.
