If you were going to split your limited time between Elemental and Resto and have to choose a top Stat after Versatility which is least detrimental?

Haste for Reso?
Iāve been running Ele in my Resto gear and while I definitely feel the lack of haste, the extra mastery is a ton of fun.
Having tried both āHaste Restoā and āMastery Eleā, Iād say mastery ele is more tolerable.

Is this for PvP or PvE?
This is for PVP.
Its still not clear to me how Resto Mastery really helps. Is the mastery proccing more?
Deep Healing helps get people back to full if theyre low, right? So its only good if theyre below 30% health?
Iām not familiar with the exact number breakdowns and theorycrafting behind restoās secondary stats, but in my experience, haste doesnāt feel like it does much on Resto because:
- Our hard-casted heals are so slow that haste seems to hardly make a dent in the cast time
- Most of the time Iām trying to avoid hard-casting at all
- We donāt benefit as much from the GCD reduction as ele because, ideally, our APM isnāt quite as high
Mastery helps solve the issue of our long hard-casts and allow us to not have to spam them as hard to catch back up if we fall behind on healing. Itās also not really a āprocā, from what Iāve read itās a linear scale based on the targetās missing health and always applies, meaning those who need our healing more get more of it. This also of course extends to the potency of our instant heals and totems as well.
There are probably other reasons Mastery is desired over Haste that Iām not aware of.

If you are going to use one gear set to play both in PvP, just go mastery.

Agree with going mastery. Ele 4pc is bonkers just pick up splintered elements talent and itās gives you plenty of haste. Plus you get the stats from Ele blast at the same time.
