Has TSM addon grown to powerful?

They need to reassess the purpose of deposits.

The need to be a hefty percentage of the sale price and refunded if the item sells or doesn’t sell and not refunded if you pull an auction early.

…how is Rematch botting? O_o

Or are you referring to TD Script? I avoid TD Script, it feels like cheating. But Rematch is literally just a UI updater lol.

did we find the one thing you’re hardcore about, maizou? :stuck_out_tongue:

Just make auctions non-cancelable. TSM makes posting, cancelling, and reposting laughably trivial. Once you input the parameters all you have to do is mouse-scroll. TSM does all the work.

Once you post something, you should have to live with it.

no i’m pretty much the same. I adore my battle pets (obviously) but I’m not a fan of the actual mechancs of pet battles.

thus, my love of rematch. in conjunction with TDpetbattlescripts. set my team up, set up the battle, and press A to victory.

I do them for the achievements, and do pet battle dailies as necessary to maintain a good supply of pet charms, but if I’ve got to level a pet, I do it with stones.

and the pvp pet battles just suck because unless you’re really good at them you don’t stand a chance. rip the pvp pet battle pet I still don’t have.

I think the cancel auction button should grey out after 1 minute. Give a grace period if somebody accidentally posts something with too few or too many zeroes at the end, but after that you have to live with what you post.

I would go with actual deposits with 2-5 minute grace period to de-list with no penalty.

Either way the solution doesn’t really hurt someone with deep reserves of a commodity that is just trying to drive other sellers out.

See it a lot on my server with enchants. Seller only posts 5 the keep it looking scarce but they actually have 100’s of them having to leave those 5 up if you undercut them doesn’t really change much.

Anything is better than now. I’m not going to say it’s automated, because the pro-tsm crowd will beat me into submission… but…

An addon shouldn’t have the power to take my inventory of 100 different items, decide whether or not each one is currently profitable to post or cancel based on your TSM parameters, and then put them up or take them down with a mouse click.

Some thought should be required.

I think that’s too long, 2 minutes is more than enough time for bots to cancel/relist and become the new LIFO.

It’s automated.

Not if the post is 5 minutes after there’s.

And if they have to eat a 20% deposit every time they play the LiFO relist game it should stop that, but as mentioned above, it doesn’t really change anything with someone that has deep reserves, they’ll just list an additional stack.

Totally agree. Now that you said that, It’s only a matter of time before a TSM super user comes in and calls us names. Now you done it!

I refuse to have any automation taking place on my computer.

dear ghod…

What do you mean? Are PVErs supposed to have any reaction time? I didn’t think they were expected to.

ROFL! The deposits are trivial. BEYOND trivial.

You’re talking making THOUSANDS of gold per hour and MAYBE losing 5g? 8g?

There are things that have prohibitive deposits, it’s true-- but most goblins don’t bother with those things/ it’s not the things Joe Average cares about in the first place (it’s xmog, not raiding mats).

You’re being facetious, right?

So if you list something for 100g, and you lose 20g to cancel the auction early to relist it again at 100g to be LIFO it would be trivial?

If people are losing 20% of the asking price every time they relist it to be last in first out they wont be making thousands of gold per hour.

The market this would be most helpful to is leggo base items. There’s seems to be a handful that control the market by spawn camping the AH to make sure they’re always the last in.

Maybe a listing fee would do the trick. Just make it 100% refundable if your item gets sold or if it expires. If you cancel your post your fee is lost.

I do partake in AH PVP myself, but don’t do any addons. I was an real as*hat on the bag market and Zinathid market for BFA. My second home is Warspear. Mage portal lands you right close to the Auction house. I go run a key, after the key I would go back to Warspear, check posts and relist if needed.

I do despise them AH goblins sitting on Longbois hunched over a mailbox in a dark Alleyway of Orgrimmar.

Yeah, my feeble attempt at making funny.
