I don’t think that’s how most people define it. Most people see pay to win as also buying items that can be gotten in game by a serious effort in time or ability. Paying to win the item instead of playing the game to get it.

On my server every run that is posted in chat is a GDKP, this is a huge problem people are buying gold and then going to the runs to gear there toon out, this is not the way the game was intended. This is making me not want to play the game on classic or retail.

realistically, gdkps should probably be banned, unpopular as it would be. it only drives the rmt problem - those runs encourage gold buying, and allow massive quantities of rmt gold to be easily laundered.
I agree with the thinking and yet I refuse to ever buy things in a video game because that’s just idiotic; gold included.
