Yes, it’s mechanical. I love the buckling spring switches. I’m a bit heavy handed when I type (and i type a lot), and the cheap rubber dome or laptop style keyboard started causing carpal tunnel issues. This keyboard pretty much fixed all of that, plus my error rate is lower and I can type faster.
