I don’t get complimented, but do give out complimemts. Right now enjoying the dragonflight look, and don’t see the need to mog, as random drops look great to me.
Ive been whispered a few times to complement my transmog.
While its always welcome and makes me smile, i dont get it.
My transmog is just the heritage armor with a shirt, tabard, different shoes, and goggles
Players thought my mog was the NElf heritage set. I have had plenty of compliments on it. My worgen druid alt goes naked except for leggings on group content. I have had a lot of compliments on her as well, especially with her characterization.
Some of these replies make me sad. I’m going to start complimenting even more people on their mog now. Fashioncraft is real.
I can’t remember anyone complimenting my mog in-game, but I have had some people ‘mirin’ my mounts before. I got some neat ones. It’s always fun getting into a “mount off” competition with someone, to see who has the coolest stuff.

Not on this character yet (outside of my guild raid group), but I’ve gotten my fair share of mog compliments through the years.
Always try to return the favor, or if I can’t do that sincerely, then offer some constructive criticism to give them a hand.
Never, though I don’t care if anyone does.
Yes both my DK and old monk got occasional whispers. My monk doesn’t even use a dedicated set. I pieced together items and made like a dark brotherhood assassin mog.
Since I started playing my Dracthyr, no. But the reasons for that are obvious.
Felsavior here on the other hand has had plenty of DMs about her mog.
Ive been rocking this since BFA with no regerts.
Every once in a while, but I often wear full sets so those are nothing “special” to most people.

You can say the little bit of xmog on my Dracthyr is accentuating at most, but I’ve been called everything from “cool”, “rad” and even handsome in whispers [The handsome one was looking for some… “RP” action].
Just yesterday when reset happened and I was doing raids even someone whispered to compliment my Dracthyr’s look and a guild event some time ago even I was getting whispers about his look.
If you ask me, I think his visage mog looks just as cool, I mean that’s where it’s at. I don’t go in visage form much, only rarely when RPing so I get few compliments about it, but still.
From comments here it seems dominantly that RP servers comment more.
That said though, I don’t think anyone’s ever commented on my different characters mog, but while comments are nice, I make the mogs for for myself.

Not usually. I design/clothe my characters for how I envision them, and if people like it, great, if not, whatever. I find sets that I like and build around them - That’s probably why people don’t notice.
