well I get targeting healer but here’s what happened: we were fighting for mid. The paladin sees me and runs towards me, I ring of peace and roll away. I continue healing and he charges towards me again. I eventually just run down to the node at the bottom, and he followed me all the way there. He stuns me, I stun him, tiger’s lust away back to mid, and he follows me there too. (At that point he had to mount up to catch me)

It’s excessive, and honestly a little offensive.

You’re on a Battleground participating in PVP . Being targeted comes with the territory particularly when you’re the healer. Don’t take it so personally

So I was healing in deepwind gorge and this paladin legit chased me all over the map??? I feel like I was being harrassed because he ran after me for almost 2 minutes before someone finally decided to peel.

I feel like targeted attacking like this is harrassment, do the objectives? nope. Just try and slow the monk minding his own business.

In a real war the first things you need to really take out are supply lines/travel routes (bridges, airfields etc), and medical anything.
We dont want you eating…or being able to travel…or getting healed up.

In a real war the first things you need to really take out are supply lines/travel routes (bridges, airfields etc), and medical anything.
We dont want you eating…or being able to travel…or getting healed up.

In modern ‘civilized’ warfare, intentionally attacking medical facilities is a big no-no for multiple reasons. It’s specifically forbidden in the Geneva Conventions, mostly because injured prisoners are also treated there.

Besides which, there really is no tactical benefit to destroying enemy hospitals; the opposing side has to dedicate a lot of effort and man-power to them…thus draining their war resources…and most of the patients sent to them will no longer be a part of the enemy forces, even after recovery.

That is of course, a different matter in a brutal fantasy war setting, where the doctor (healer) is right there in the mix of things, directly contributing to the battle, and ultimate victory. “Kill the healer first” is the most logical mind-set in this case.

I’m pretty sure the point of PvP is to kill enemy players. In battlegrounds if you’re a healer, then yes, expect people to chase you down and kill you because they’re trying to stop you from healing your team.

I’m a Healer and I agree with this. When I heal BG’s with my Holy Paladin I use HHTD, and target the enemy Healers, stunning them, attacking and doing everything I can to draw attention to them, to make them move so they cannot heal. All the while keeping my own team up.

If you play a Healer in BG’s, prepare to play offensively, not defensively.

This happens to me once in a while, where a melee will chase me FOREVER until I am dead. I have to remind me that I’m a healer and it’s his job to kill me. Everyone always screams to target the healer, so we can’t really get mad if someone actually does.

The best thing to do is just stand there and let him kill you, so you can respawn and move on with your life.
