If you’re dealing with random stuttering in WoW and can’t figure out why, try turning off Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling (HAGS) in Windows.
I have a mid-high setup (9800X3D / 4070 Ti Super) and even at 287 FPS, I was experiencing intermittent stutters. I tried every NVIDIA and in-game setting, plus shader cache tweaks—nothing worked.
Disabled HAGS as a last resort, and the stutter vanished. My frame rate even went up.
It might be worth a try if you’re running into the same issue. Hope this helps someone!
