You used to be able to see talents and gear as a snapshot on the armory or something. How do I get to that? I want to review my character but I am at work.
rogues always just seem to have some weird damage tax, where they always seem to get chunked for more
I thought Valorstones only juiced pvp gear. Can i pump up PVP gear?
You want all damage as much as possible tbh. The faster the shield goes down, the faster his HP goes down, the easier it is.
As I understand in instanced pvp the pvp automatically goes up to ilvl671 for honor gear, and higher for conquest. Valorstones have no effect on that, but raise the ilvl for outside of instanced pvp.
Valorstones on pve gear just incrementally raise the ilvl based on what category it is (veteran, adventurer, champion, hero, etc)
I struggled with Guardian druid. Could not out-damage the heal bubble sometimes because I could not focus target due to the other mechanics. Feral was hard also, but once I was able to aim the bombs better I beat it.
I noticed that using the interact key for the bombs requires a player to be facing the intended target (of interaction) more strictly than clicking. Itâs still way better than trying to click through Underpinâs gigantic mech.
I feel like this fight is a big introduction to the interact key for many players, lol. Perhaps the producers intend to lean on it a bit harder in future content, so they want everyone to be fully acclimated.
Maybe try Unholy (Rider for mobility, and Commander for passive damage)? I found that to be the easiest - maybe even easier than Prot war. I looked up the video of when I did it, and it was at ilvl 649 and it was a nice clean kill. With Turbo Boost, you should be able to get there real fast.
Like that other guy said, use DPS Brann. Doing it as resto druid was on the easier side. Druid mobility is obviously a big factor, as is 1-minute convoke being an automatic âdelete boss shieldâ.
Yeah definitely. I havenât actually tried it, but it seems near impossible to do this with Tank Brann.
Yep. Tank Brann for regular Delves and DPS Brann for the nemesis.
Thereâs a healthy balance.
i only have 4 characters at 655-660 to attempt this and out of those 4, devoker and sv hunter can only stay in the fight for 1-2 minutes
as SV hunter, resouurce generation rely on pet being alive. when i set brann to tank, brann dies fast. when i set brann to heal or dps, pet dies fast
Did you try using healer brann and turning pet taunt / pet aggro off and taking the melee damage yourself?
yes i did turn off taunt. but this is SV hunter, i have to be in melee and rely on leech and 1 minute self heal which then im forced to pet taunt to take off pressure, feign death, pet shield, for 1-2 minutes and im out of trick
Healer brann should be enough to sustain you through what damage underpin does between casting his bombs etc.
I imagine healer spec would have the worst time with Underpin ??
If you arenât using Brann to tank youâre healing yourself a lot. If you are using Brann to tank you have 0 control over positioning and adds becomes a pain. You also have to somehow burst down the shield.
It would probably have been easier when Tank Brann was actually OP but now? I wouldnât even dare try
yes it can. though its another mechanic to manage the scattered potion. cant bother with extra mechanic on top of the underpin dodging. yea dps with healer brann is hardmode
Probably most healers who run tank Brann. I had brann just stop attacking. As disc I lacked the dps to break the shield and brann just sat there watching it happen. Surviving isnât the issue, itâs brann AI just throwing the fight.
Donât know, it took me a long time to beat him even using Prot + DPS brann strategy. Iâm not very coordinated lol but I just beat him for the first time about 50 minutes ago!!! After a lot of practice I finally got good at kicking bombs lol.
I gave myself a lot of procs to heal myself on my ring and belt thing, I wonder if it helped any or not really. The main thing I did differently was start killing the adds faster.
Rogue has mobility and defenses which help and Priest has healing which would help. It seems like DoT classes would be good at finishing off a couple or a few mobs that were low from far away. But I donât really know. Iâm not doing it again lol.
((I do think he was harder than Zekvir yes, it took me about double the amount of attempts))
Not much experience with different classes but I did it as arcane mage. Arcane has great mobility, and with healing brann you arenât ever in much danger of dying unless you stand in stuff.
I had the opposite experience, finding Zekvir to be much harder than underpin. Over 100 tries on Zekvir. Only a few tries for underpin. And I did go back a couple of times for fun.
Zekvir rng was unforgiving, that frontal would come out at the worst time in the worst way hehe.
