Man I hope they change this rule. I have my 60 rogue in era and have done as much in era as I want to, I have no desire to play any other classes, not even a little bit. So playing Fresh HC gives me a reason to level another rogue to eventually take into TBC, but having to transfer to a PVE server is like a kick in the nuts and makes me feel like abandoning it all. This decision by Blizzard is such a downer.
Considering everything else in this thread has been a projection from you, I imagine this is as well.

You can transfer PvE to PvP on era - so for a very long term angle you will probably be able to take it to Whitemane eventually.
You have 12k posts. Other guy has 10k posts. Both have their entire identity wrapped up in ganking lowbies in WoW. You guys are not working, lol.
This would circumvent the purpose of a PVP server if you could just level on PVE and transfer over.
Of course they won’t do this LOL
HC servers are PVE yes but lets be real youre less likely to hit 60 on a HC server than a PVP server by a large margin
