Blizzard CS confirmed on twitter that the realms still exist. They are just delaying bringing them back up while they confirm stability.

WoW Classic Anniversary Realms

New WoW Classic Anniversary realms will go live on November 21 at 2:00 p.m. PST. In each region, the realms will be:

  • Mol’dar’s Moxie (Normal)

  • Fengus’ Ferocity (PvP)

  • Slip’kik’s Savvy (Hardcore)

The Molten Core and Onxyia raids will open on December 12.

We seen lol we’re talking about the ones we’ve been playing on. They’re down but they mentioned theyr’e still working on em for stability.

HC servers will not be down for weeks. Here is a blue post from blizzard:

"We have many more steps to take with Hardcore during a full patch update like this one. Those steps are all focused on finding any issue that has even a remote chance of causing players to die. If we find such an issue, we go through a whole process of understanding it, reproducing it, designing a fix, testing the fix, and applying the fix before we open Hardcore realms publicly.

Issues like that can be safely tolerated on the non-Hardcore Classic Era realms for a little while, and of course, we apply our fixes to Classic Era realms as well as Hardcore realms as we go.

We appreciate your patience."

Obviously, there’s a delay, but I wouldn’t worry about realms being gone from the list, or not being able to access them for days/weeks at a time for now

Can’t believe it’s taken all day for maintenance on a realm that shouldn’t be expecting changes or patches.

This kind of downtime doesn’t make sense. Eventually when they get their heads outta their asses and get the servers back up, we’ll get to see and feel absolutely no change. feelsblizzardman.
