The play with the blues event on the current pvp ptr is not until 2pm US west coast time (ie in 5hrs+ time). If the hardcore ptr is to come back it would be after that - ie in 7+ hrs. (Updated - As the post below says this is a day out - the pvp event is not until tomorrow (its already the 21st where I am…) And there is no reason they cant have both going - but my total guess is they want to try to maximise participation in the play with the blues event)

You’re off by a day with this estimate btw. Their event is tomorrow, so if you’re basing the server status off the end of the Battle against Blues event Part 2, you’re looking at 28 1/2 hours from now.
I’m assuming they can have the PVP ptr realm available and the hardcore PTR realm available at the same time and we should see something in the next 1-2 hours from them but if they can’t run them both simultaneously I’d say you’re prob right with it occurring after their PVP ran event tomorrow.

Would be great if the servers came back up soon. Im trying to become a famous streamer and can only do so if I can play wow on a public test server where everyone else is also trying to become a famous streamer playing hardcore.
Watch TheWestoner weeknights at 8pm EST if you like sexy stoners who wish they were twitch famous.
Just turn HC servers back on, there isnt even enough people on PTR for BG queues to pop

Hello Blizzard? We’d appreciate at least an update. It’s prime time for me to test this HC server, baby! Surely you can have both servers up at once? Some of us have no interest in PVP 
not sure why they’d take the hc ptr down and put up pvp the same day/time if this was the case.
That would be a lead reason as to why they can’t run both servers for sure. What I would say though is the PTR was riddled with a lot of bugs that needed patching. Especially the amount of people that I saw dead one day and than abused the rezzing in a major city thing which kind of ruins the integrity of playing hardcore but at least people found it now so it can be fixed for next PTR testing cycle

Agreed, this ptr was a joke. Endless WSG with zero AV and maybe 5 AB’s.

I’m sure the devs find it much more fun to PvP with the players than listen to the endless river of complaints from wannabe HC players. They said approximately 7 days.

Even if the HC sever comes back up tonight (maybe) unless there’s changes it’s like the PVP sever meh give us 30-60 to test

So the pvp ptr has gone offline and the tab for the hard core ptr has reappeared but the server is still offline - I guess that means it’s going live soon.

I just noticed that. It was not like that about 2 hours ago. A good sign maybe?

When is Hardcore open?
Just remember it took em 4 hours to put the PvP sever up so give em 2-3 more hours
