HC is very social and active. Go try it first. Chats are lively and often filled with either GGs or Fs.
id imagine on a HC server you could group with whoever. bc everyone wold be hardcore.

I have tried it. Its antisocial and weird atm filled with people obsessing over streamers. I honestly turn off the Gchat often as I cant group or trade with anyone and I find conversations about twitch kind of boring.
right now if you want to play HC those rules are everything we have.
I turn off Gchat first too.
