Hardcore Offical: Pros & Cons

Are u assuming that RMT would be higher on these assumed future HC servers?

Not in volume. But gold would be worth more in terms of RMT.

This is assumption

That’s an example.

Sorry bonerover im trying to see your side of the ball. what are u arguing for exactly?

Trading with heavy restrictions.

yay or ney to this?

It really is this simple. Other games have had you in a way “end your run” when you die and the chracter just becomes a normal character on a normal realm. Its a little harder to do that in WoW seeing as servers are a bit more complicated.

Not allowing people to freely trade or group with other HC members because you are worried about people exploiting is not enough of a reason to tell people they cant play with friends, run a dungeon more than once ect. If a couple percent of the players cheat so be it. Dont ruin the fun for everyone else because a few people will always abuse things.

Are you asking me something?

No, that is an assumption.
You’re assuming that this will happen on a HC server that characters that die cannot continue playing.

You’re assuming there will be armies of bots throwing gold everywhere.

And you’re assuming simply because it doesn’t exist today.

That is the definition of assumption.

If trading is allowed without any restrictions bots will exist.

You’re ignorant if you think otherwise.

I’ll even bookmark your comment to follow up should a server open.

probably true. If bots exist on HC i bet they are easier for blizz to spot tho.

Doesn’t mean they’ll ban them.

They let 120k build up before doing anything. The bots have to saturate the game first, which is not ideal under any circumstances.

Bots will not exist because they will die just like all classic bots died many times in mara / dm east / dm n.

Either way, both of us are betting on something, at least I’m being optimistic and realistic here that the risk of losing the character and having to level it again for the bot owner is just not feasible, they will more likely invest their time on WoTLK classic where they can get guaranteed returns.

Okay partner.

id imagine that blizz would crack down a lil harder on HC servers. did you all play SoM? how was botting there?

How many people were even playing SoM? It all depends on the volume of players first.

It did sound like they policed it more which was a turn off considering it meant that they let it slide in Classic then.

“If you think different you’re the ignorant”

Lmao you’re the one with full of assumptions with really bad grasp of reality and calls others ignorant.

what a clown.

So what? Are you going to tell me I am not allowed to play with my friends or buy an item they put on the AH because a small percentage of people will abuse it?

HC turns a lot of people off for those simple reasons. I get the “RP” elements of running a dungeon once kind of like your character only has one life, but the level of other restrictions on mail/ah/grouping is just to prevent exploiters because there is no real in game system for HC.

Once blizzard implements a one life system to a realm the rest is just up to the players. If you want to add challenge by not using the AH/grouping/trading with friends then do it.

A lot of us dont as its a huge part of the game.

Correct. Those are the rules.

But you can do duos and trade all you want with them. And you can still group up with friends for dungeons.
