Raw gold farm isn’t bad when I have 40 accounts doing it.

arguing about bots farming gold is worthless. On a HC server idk i think there is less incentive to make RMT because of the fact that you could lose all ur money spent on a death. People would want to make RMT on a character that can keep the gold/items. there would be some RMT but significantly less than regular servers.

With that attitude why would you ever farm for anything on a HC toon since it’s going to die?
People will buy gold with the intention of not dying.
Matter of fact, gold would be much more valuable. Not wanting to risk death to farm up for a mount? People would pay a higher premium for gold on a HC server and bots would sell it as such since the risk was even greater.

Bots cheat = yeah, they cheat but the bots you show as example are the ones farming herbs / mining / chests in Steamvaults and other dungeons using fly hack, they don’t even get closer to mobs, because they would die.
Bots in classic, specially mage bots they were killing mobs and gathering the loot. Most of times they would die and just return > walk all the way back to the dungeon.
You can’t do that on a hardcore server. If you have 40 accounts, you’ll die 40 times, and you’ll have to level another 40 times and while leveling you’ll die again most likely and then…
do you see how your theory is just flawed and very unlikely to happen?

It’s not that hard to stay alive in the game…
The whole HC scene is literally playing for hundreds of hours without one death. There’s alot of “not dying” in between.
Why would the put the bot in a situation that has a high chance of death? If they can run that bot for 500hours a month it just has to net $0.03/hour to breakeven on sub cost.
I think that the player base for HC is okay with farming gold. I think that the average HC player understands the grind aspect to HC. Why would i Buy something that’s more expensive that accrues higher risk of loss of investment when i simply could buy the same thing for cheaper and have no risk of loss. IDK to me it would seem pointless to buy gold on HC bec ur gonna be over level farming mobs anyway.

some of them are extremely careful to not die like playing only 2-3 levels higher than the zone they are.
You’re comparing humans that can make a split second decision to not die with a bot that is programmed to do a repeated pattern that will end up failing if anything goes different and most of time it does, like resists etc.
In the end, you’re saying I can’t trade a gun I won’t use with another level 14 player because there will be flying god bots that never die and farm gold at cost of 0,03 hour and will flood the market with gold and every hc player will buy the gold and then this will be the end of hc.

They can run a different script. Don’t be that dense.
Why would a bot farm put their accounts in a situation where chance of death is high?
They’ll get a bunch of low level accounts farming lower level areas for raw loot.
Ok an army of level 10 bots farming coppers is this why I can’t trade a gun to another player?

This is correct. You can trade the gun under certain limitations.
So we avoid the bot armies.
im just thinking that the RMT would be much lower on these servers. IMO the botting and RMT will never die completely. I assume that HC players are playing HC for the challenge, not just to indulge in another money sink…
