What if Blizzard were to add a hardcore mode like from Diablo into WoW?
I think it’d be interesting to see this feature in the game, particularly from the World PvP and Raid Progression perspective.

So that’d make Argus the Unmaker impossible to defeat for hardcore mode?
Blizz would probably give a revive where the story/encounter demands it still.
Diablo is tuned to be much, much easier than WoW is. WoW has no need for the increased difficulty that HC brings. A HC death in WoW would be significantly more punishing than one in Diablo. Instead of a friend powerleveling you to level cap in 30 minutes to get you extremely close to where you were pre-death in Diablo, you’d take days or weeks to level a new character up to cap and you wouldn’t have a backup gear set to use.
If HC were ported to WoW, people would avoid anything remotely difficult. I would be absolutely surprised if AOTC would be cleared by the time the raid tier ends.
Not if it were voluntary, like Diablo’s HC mode is.
No way any game survives compulsory universal perma-death mode.
Why not just go play Diablo instead of suggesting WoW be even more like it than it already is now?
I enjoy playing more when death is not going to happen unless you’re doing something you know you shouldn’t be doing, but death is extremely punishing.
This is because dying upsets me. I don’t want to die all the time. I’m not Mario.
