I was playing enh as I have for the last few years and so I went ven.
I should swap over, it just seems so boring and the story line is really lame.
At least with ven I get 25% reduced kick/ different school of healing and it trucks damage

Elemental is so fun right now. I would highly recommend it.
It is better as necrolord, but venthyr is not terrible, just not quite as useful (I went from necrolord to venthyr and back to necrolord)

imagine a racing competition like nascar, the winner gets rewarded with better car pieces over the rest so his car keeps getting better and better compared to the competition, thats kinda wow pvp atm lol

100% this, I hit my 1800 goal for the season and now I find the least geared people in LFG and have a crack at healing them to get better at reacting myself.
it is VERY VERY VERY rare for me to see someone with more gear than me. 99% of the time its someoneâs 1600-1700 mate trying to get their 1300 friend to 1400 or a little higher. Sometimes its a carry. If youâre that good. You will win.
I tell you now, having played in most brackets at around 220 ilvl, a couple things.
Gear doesnât win games. I have had the brakes beat off me by 33k hp warriors and monks. I cannot sit a rouge opener unless the rouge has under 30k hp. Youâre getting a defensive off me one way or another.
A mage combust is scary no matter how much hp they have. A ret can still global me with avenging wrath and seraphim up. A warrior can still train me and kick me into next week. A monk can still disrupt my healing. It just takes a couple extra seconds to kill me.
Most classes burst windows hit about 5k dps on average. Others are bigger, but thats around the bottom floor.
So the hp, damage reductions, extra stats that I have equate to an extra second of burst. 2100+ extra 2/3 seconds.

Its actually more like bracketing.
You earn the right to race the best of the best. By starting from the bottom in your crappy Honda civic then progressing as a racer into nascar once you earn the right to be there. Once you get there, Youâll be given an equal ilvl car.
You donât take your Go-Kart to nascar then whine that everyone is faster than you.

This is pretty much how nascar worksâŠThe big teams have better parts, more skilled crew, access to better research, etcâŠyou also start out racing in the crap cups and normally work your way upâŠto the better cars but you can still drop down and race like Tony Stewart does using his exp from a higher bracket and money to outshine lower brackets.
Veteran of the third war, and stoneskin for another 5%. Fallen Crusader is needed by 33% so its not the best for pvp.
Nowhere on the planet we live on does the fastest driver at Nascar get a bigger engine and a lighter more areodynamic chassis! You are delusional, as a matter of fact in every aspect of âSportsâ there are rules IE:
Weight Classes
No HGH, or Roids
No special Equipment
No European Gene Therapy
Same weighted gloves
Etc.

I got dumpstered by a 3200+ rogue who competes in the AWC at challenger MMR. I feel a system that allows people to play opponents 1.5k rating below their skill level might be a bit flawed.

see other reply because that is how nascar worksâŠwinning teams will continue to be winning teams due to advantages described in the quote, same in MLB, NFL, NCAA with better training facilities, unstandardized gear etc. In all of these athlete skill still matters but the better teams do get advantages you think we see the same winning teams/drivers year due even playing field?
ok then explain why its the lowest ranking teams in baseball,football,hockey and basketball that get first shot at the best draft picks. There are layered reasons why bad sports teams are bad, in context to other teams in that same sport. In a life long Maple Leads fan (NHL) that teams historically poor performance has nothing to do with other teams having any sort of advantage over the Leafs, it has everything to do with poor management and player performance.
Pro sports is 100% skill and team synergy. The best players get paid the most, which translates to ilvl in this game. Both are fine.
well thatâs to help them improve but those draft picks rarely stay they often go to better places after their required 1-2 year stay. Or they get hurt due to poor conditioning and are done.
There are layered reasons bad players are bad they just want to blame gear.
Maple leaves is a good example. Maybe nobody wants to live in Toronto? Raptors and Blue Jays could be proof of that. They donât have the income of other teams they canât attract talent and they canât get better facilities. If they had the Facilities of another NHL team to attractive, or maybe slightly better equipment then they currently have theyâd improve but they have to win to generate that income/interest.
Point being better performance = better equipment especially in pro sports due to higher income/donors so saying âThis doesnât exist in pro sports/nascarâ is a short sighted uneducated about competition comparison because it does. Alabama in NCAA says hi also Yankees, Lakers etc. Even look at the Olympics same concept the countries with already better things are getting awarded gold medals for being better. Those gold medals lead to moral boosts and destroying lesser countries at sports.
No reason wow shouldnât be like every other thing that has competition the best get better and the rest are fodder.
