I mean, it is kind of funny of them to make fun of some of the worst hysterics that happen here on the forums.
This entire expansion is an insult to everyone that plays it. Everyone gets the poopy end of the stick because both ends are caked in feces. There isn't anyone who hasn't suffered this expansion.
It is every year. Every Q and A. Every panel.
Horde is the dominate social force in the blizzard community - for the life of me i don't know why they have to stick it to the Alliance all the time. It is like beating a dead horse.
What happens when the Alliance faction dies? The faction conflict is a base part of WoW's IP - why is blizzard actively trying to kill one side of their own damned game?

I can appreciate the humor, but when the entire faction is facing huge, growing population issues around both PvP and PvE, the joke is in poor taste.
The Alliance is on the verge of entering a death spiral, the type that an online community never recovers from, and !@#$ like this only accelerates that.

I mean, when the Alliance is the red headed stepchild that is nothing more than a giant meme, can't say I blame anyone.
I've always said the biggest problem with the Alliance are the memes. The Alliance has been memed to death by not only the players but the devs incessantly for the past few years. Why would anyone wanna play the faction thats treated like a giant joke?
Personally, I do because pretty much everybody I know plays Alliance.

I have an attachment to both on my mains, not my faction since I play both. I don't an emotional attachment to any faction or lore characters for that matter,

That's why I always laugh when horde players sneer about how Alliance cry too much considering their players sent actual death threats to Blizz employees over the story and there was such drama...
You guys say we cry too much, but one hiccup in your world and your faction does the exact same thing. We just have more to complain about.
To be honest alliance get fat people yay... Junk gnome bots yay... We have a teenager for a king yay. We're in a great spot to turn this bad !@# train around. I just like being human... But damn i need to figure out how to get recruited by the horde I can't stand the route alliance is headed to.
I'm not horde or alliance.. I'm a human being..
they made a joke off a stereotype

p.s. it scares me as people identify with their faction in a video game
