I might role Hard Core once just to see what level i can make it but i will be taking it meticulously slow taking the path of least resistance and maybe even playing it for the first hour or 2 before I hop on another non hardcore character because reaction time and patience drops significantly over time. Im sure they have certain trap quests that have NPCs jump out at you, I came across one of these with my rogue today and it would have ended me with the lack of reaction time. Find a guild that rolls Hard Core nights who takes running dungeons and raids slow like players did with BC and earlier with meticulously setting up CC properly with each pull not over loading tank or heals and just chill play.

I’d have no problem with that. I’m very much a let people play how they want person. But blizzard is first and foremost a business and I wonder if there are actually enough people who want this play style to make even a small pop server.
HC is a fad to fill drought between content. Knowing Blizz they’ll waste resources on it that would go more important features of wow classic: era/wrath.

The funny bit is it could be as small as one more client on the esx server.
Make base server off template I assume is in the esx (or whatever they use).
Put it in the server listings seen in game. And done. the HC add on people take over the rest lol. Its not like blizzard has issues running dead servers.
Ironforge right now is showing some servers with low as hell log traffic. Maladath is the server that will not die. 11 horde on there will not be ignored lol.

No, you play this game to be social. You don’t get to pick how others play. Some people share your sentiment, others don’t. Just like with RDF there’s differing opinions, but you can’t just drop a blanket statement and herd all players on WoW into your little box you’ve made out of some pre-conceived notion that MMOs require you to interact with others.
I’m speaking for myself, but I bet a lot of other players on HC servers will agree that chat is more poppin and social right now with this influx of HC players than it has been in a while. And it’s not like people refuse to help others. I’ve seen plenty of HC players save someone else from death by pulling 1 of the 3 mobs attacking off of them.
As far as the AH goes, I never understand how people think HC affects their auction house…

Yeah, that logic would work if there was a limit to supply. If there was a finite amount of light leather in the game, for example, then I could see how it might ruin the economy. If copper nodes didn’t respawn after they were mined, the complaint would make sense. There is literally an infinite supply of materials for a finite demand.
The people using the AH on these “hardcore” servers aren’t missing out on anything. It makes no difference if HC players dont use the AH. If they got rid of HC like a lot of people want, those players just wouldn’t be there to use the AH at all in the first place.
Long story short, I’m going to go buy a tiny violin today to adequately respond to all these HC complainers and their arbitrary reasons for not liking how others play a game that they pay their own subscription for.
