Cant pick up the last Relic for the weekly quest. reload ui and abandoning the quest did nothing.

Same problem here. The only relic available is the Sky’s hope one and when you try to choose it the button is greyed out. Another thing, the Root relic one is not even on its pedestal anymore this week. The rock pedestal thing is empty.

They are gated you have to do the 5 previous on one character to open it sigh
Always with the gates and blocks. It’s a WB achieve but the single character progress thing makes ZERO sense

I’m seeing the exact same thing. Empty rock pedestal.
The Haranir legends idea is neat but it’s implementation has been inconsistent and buggy.

I only play one character and the final relic is greyed out and the relic next to it isn’t there. Can’t progress!

I’ve noticed this as well - and in addition to that, the decor vendor that has additional versions of the rewards from these quests is not allowing me to buy the ones I have, even with all five of the prior artifacts placed at their pedestals.

I want to +1 this. I have completed all previous 5 relic quests on one character. However, the quest “a stolen staff” is not popping up for me (you need to complete this quest chain to unlock the last 2 relics). I have completed all the quests before a stolen staff.
Similarly, I went to the decor vender is not allowing me to buy one for a quest I have already done (The Cauldron of Echoes). I used wowhead code to see if the quest has been completed and it shows up as “false”. However, I have completed Cauldron of Echoes, and in the relic area I am not able to select the Cauldren relic or any other relic to do the weekly.

Same here. I’ve done the 5 I can do. One ‘pedestal’ is empty, and the Sky’s Hope cannot be chosen.

Same issue the relic second from the end is just invisible, And I cannot select SKy’s hope. It says I need to complete all the others first but it is just not there to select+
bugged for me too. the item is invisible, and the only relic available is ‘sky’s hope’ but it is grayed out and says it is still hidden.

So the issue here is that the Root of the World is gated behind the previous 5 relics and completing the first three chapters of the side quests that the main relic NPC gives you that are part of the achievement “The Empty Cradle”. Completing its third step “A Legend to Know” makes it available.
While it is extremely unintuitive in how they set this specific one up, it doesn’t appear to be broken.

that is so annoying as I split up them among my alts as they needed the quest for the first spark for the midnight tour…

@thecheatt is right. I had to complete this quest line and then the root relic finally appeared.
I was at the To the Blossoming Terrace part of the chain and completed it and everything’s fine now.
Ah yeah that’s kinda rough. I still did the weekly on my main for the rep and then whatever alts I might be catching up at 90 that week were automatically granted credit due to the initial fixes they made for the renown’s Champion reward, so I never had to worry about doing it on them.

I did each area on a different alt as I leveled them up. So now I either need to figure out which alt I did this area on, or redo the quests on my main. That blows.
Edit: Nope. Have to redo the quests on my main.. Took my alt out there and the relic is visible, but I have to do all the other ones first. So my only choice is to redo the quest lines on my main.
The achievements are account wide, I with they’d make progress with the stories for instances such as this account wide also.
This is broken BS you should either get that info from the npc OR I should be able to just do my relic quest i have 2 relics left and cant even click them with no explination.
