Handling FOMO is not Blizzards problem

Holy topic switch batman, do you understand what i’ve said in my comment or not? Simple question. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I talk to lots of people.

Do they talk back?

Maybe once, … Who said that? , the wind…

There are many unspoken, unseen, impossible to write moments that none can compare. For which I am infinitely keenly unique and cannot share. Gratefully, I have missed nothing. These dreams are castles made of sand before the tempest of time.

:dragon: :ocean: :dragon: :ocean: :dragon: :ocean:

It’s their FOMO. Handling it should follow.

No, it’s quite literally Blizzard’s problem.

They are creating the FOMO by making things limited time.

Why is this post hidden?

They’re not wrong… Limited time items are fun to get. If you are upset about them you either lack self control or you feel entitled to things you didn’t/couldn’t/wouldn’t earn yourself.

YOU engaged ME when I was talking about worth. Mage Tower skins directly tie into the concept of worth. If you do not want to talk about the point I’m talking about, then don’t engage me at all.

Also, I think you are Rhielle. I could be wrong.

Missing out on content. A lot of people would not mind working towards things to get certain rewards, even if it is legacy content. It’s something they can work towards and be rewarded for their efforts. What damage is caused by letting people have access to the content 3-4 years after the fact?

/sigh.

Okay, fine. Let’s talk about it then.

Let’s use one of my appearances i’ve gotten in 7.3.5 … Flame-Glaives.

So i gotten it in 7.3.5, and atfer 20+ tries with so many potions, buffs and watching guides (I’m not that great tbh), i’ve finally got it. And i did feel really good about getting it. Here’s the thing though…

If Blizzard one day, decided to literally give them out for free, guess what? I still like them all the same. The Rarity or what other people think about it, is not what i consider a mark of quality of the item i’ve found worth to go after. It was aesthetics and it was simply for myself. I did the challenge as simply a means to an end to get that reward.

I don’t mind if other people get it for much easier. I mean 99% of the cosmetics we get while it was current, were gotten for much easier for somebody else. The GPU i’ve paid for a year or so ago, are now being paid for less for somebody else now. People who get to play Spiderman on the PS4, now PC gamers can play Spiderman.

But i digress, the point being is Flame-glaives is simply a cool cosmetic that i want to get because it looks cool. It being a rarity is of no concern to me.

Well i would suggest to cross reference our pets to make sure.

But no. Were not the same.

Roflstomping old content is fine and there are plenty of “rewards” you can go get. There’s nothing wrong with leaving a small percentage of items actually have some meaning other than it makes people whine like 5 year olds.

My characters all look how I want them to look. They all ride Ashes Al’ar which is my favorite mount in the game by several orders of magnitude. I never got in the habit of using toys because they all have dumb, arbitrary cooldowns. I don’t care about titles, I don’t even know if I have them set up. My favorite specs are easy enough that I’ll do fine on them even if I don’t have whatever cotton candy power boost comes with the patch.

I am immune to FOMO! Hear me roar!

Neat I flagged yours too

I’m still wondering how you got CC?

You constantly have the most fried takes, talk about things you have no business talking about, acting like you do, and you’re blatantly disrespectful to people who don’t agree with you lol.

Everything should be fomo. Blizzard should straight up delete all content after each season.

Get’s people motivated, you know?

Is that you, Ion? Blizzard removes content, Blizzard exploits FOMO. Shill harder.

Implementing FOMO systems isn’t the fault of the party responsible for said systems, apparently.

The shills on this board never stop being clueless, do they?

No, the fact people “feel” like they must have things isn’t a blizzard problem.

I “feel” like I should have received every six month promotion mount for being on an auto renew for 10+ years, doesn’t mean it’s gonna happen. Where’s my loyalty mount?
