I think THEY think as long as we’re doing something…anything…that the game is ‘fun’ LMAO.
They seem to forget that many players have been here for the games best times…and those of us who havent already know what a fun game actually looks like…and we arent impressed with this busy work hoax. lol
ATTN ACTIVISION BLIZZARD persons who run thru here…
You want to know why we post negatively on here and still keep playing?
We WANT to like the game. We WANT to enjoy playing.
And we continue (for now) HOPING that you’ll get your crap together…stop cheaping out to save a few bucks so your investors get a little more return…and put the love you USED to have for this game back into it again.
Eventually, however, hope dies. Just like a bad romance.
Sorry to say the complainers like you have been around since 2004 doomsaying and demanding changes. They rarely care and the game is just fine.
That excuse from the devs was in an expansion where it was still desirable for extremely geared players to do world quests.
Now, they’ve made world quests irrelevant to everyone above ilvl 194, so the only people doing them are us gold farmers.
So if the “world quest mobs dying in seconds” problem has been solved by making world quests unappealing, then it’s time for world mob scaling to go.
It has to go. It’s killing the very core of the game.
“My personal pet peeve is why Shadowlands is doing badly.”
You see this kind of logic any time WoW dips. I’m not reading all 300 posts but I would wager cold hard cash at least one person said that Shadowlands is doing poorly because of no flying for instance, which is a crock of %%%% but it almost certainly has been said.
Bellular used to be decent, but now he just spews doom and gloom for clicks.
literally LMAO dude.
The game isnt fine and anyone who thinks it is seriously has ZERO clue what GOOD gaming looks like
He is a click bait king, lol.
I only watch Hazelnutty at this point.
OnLy My OpiNiOn iS CoRrEcT
Sadly the engagement and sales numbers disagree with you and WoW is doing better than ever.
It’s not really complicated, just full of chores that no one wants to do.
as i said.
Now run along. You aint worth wasting my time with today.
edited to add that you apparently have the same lackluster requirements for ‘good gaming’ that blizzard currently has.
Theres a reason for all the complaints, guy…and as my previous post stated…we’re still here HOPING the game will get better.
Lets see what happens if blizzard continues with their current game design model of empty headed grinds instead of REAL content.
Its almost as if they…and you…forgot about that subscription nose dive in WoD that made them stop posting sub numbers, LMAO.
You seriously naive enough to actually believe that cant happen again? lol
Why would companies release games in a playable state when we are preordering their shovelware months in advance? They literally have no reputation left to stand on to enjoy such benefits from their consumers yet here we are, paying in advance to beta test their garbage.
They often respond to our issues with changes, and the expansions usually end better than they begin.
Cheers.
You’re quoting yourself as evidence that “Only my opinion is correct”
There aren’t really that many complaints. You just happen to be on a forum with a bunch of crybabies (GD) so it seems like everyone is complaining. Most people are perfectly happy and never come here or care what internet guy Bellular thinks.
lol
added this to the post above, just for you…
things change on a dime in game… one day subs are up…the next they are done… Just ask blizzard 2015 about that
Bellular, Clickbait King.
annnd with that youre going to the ignore list…
talk to your naive self, son
GD definitely skews negatively, but even as a person who usually defends the game overall, SL feels pretty blah. I’ve burned out and lost interest faster than I ever have before, likely because it is the same thing as BFA. Repetitive chores disguised as meaningful progress, buried beneath layered RNG designed solely to make you spend more hours playing the game.
True. Until we get wise and stop paying them anyway.
At first I felt a bit bad for unsubbing… but after a few days of not worrying about logging in I dont feel bad at all. Current wow was feeling like “beatings will continue until morale improves” was the motto.
Sort of freeing to be out of that consumer relationship, sad as it sounds.
Will I come back, probably…maybe… or I may find my time away to be much more rewarding… we shall see.
Sorry I only picked the beginning of the post, I just didn’t want the whole long thing. My response is in reference to the whole thing, just to be clear.
The issue with scaling is one of “non-completion”. The Diablo 3 team moved over and made wow scale like they did with Diablo 3.
Which in itself isn’t a bad thing.
What failed is that the gear doesn’t scale correctly with monster scaling. They also didn’t factor in the need to actually upgrade the gear like they constantly do in Diablo 3.
You get legendary gear all the time in Diablo 3, and that allows you to go up on the basic torment levels. Once you have enough of the more ancient gear you can cruise torment 16 things really easy.
They also have a multitude of ways to get it. You can get gear from any place really. Not just rifts and greater rifts. I mean they are the fastest means to doing so, but not necessary.
They didn’t do anything like this in wow. They basically upped the “torment” levels and made the base gear static, without the means of gaining better things without doing rated pvp, mythic dungeons or raiding.
Add to that, the elite players want to keep saying that anyone else doesn’t deserve the higher gear without doing their way only, you see the issue we are currently in.
Blizzard didn’t finish the job in this case. The way I see it there are two options.
Give a method beyond pvp /raiding / mythic dungeons to getting better gear that can overcome the scaling, or remove the level 60 scaling completely.
