That has to be Avaloren right? There is not enough space in the “old world” for another empire. These people have to be on the other side.
So now we have soft confirmation of Night Elves, High Elves, Humans and Dragons reaching the other side. The back side of Azeroth might be more familiar than we thought.

I don’t know about that. I guess it depends on where you live. But that’s not average size, lol.
I saw and I honestly can’t wait to see Hallowfall in general.
So is it confirmed they are half elves? Or are we just going on data mining hype that will inevitable lead to disappointment?
Nothing confirmed but lorewise it’d make sense since Elves and the Lothar lineage had a pact.
We don’t know if they are all Half Elves. It’s mix between Humans and Half Elves. Have to wait and see.
Yes it is confirmed. Basically a bunch of high elves went with these humans, formed their own kingdom and interbred to the point they just consider themselves Arathi.
It depends on how you define half elves. I watched Nobbel’s playthrough of Hallowfall on Twitch, and he found an Arathi NPC with gossip text that allowed the player to ask if the NPC was an elf. The reply was as follows:
"Why would you–
Ah. The ears.
Legend says that when the Arathi first settled at our home, we were two peoples: humans, and the high elves who joined them to help teach magic. They built the foundations of the Arathi Empire together and became one. We have remained united ever since. I am not an elf, {player name}. I am an Arathi."
So, they’re a society formed by the blending of elves and humans over several generations, not necessarily half elves in the same exact same way as Arator (one elf parent and one human parent), and they don’t necessarily identify themselves as such. Other posters have made a comparison with the Bretons from the Elders Scrolls games.

I wouldn’t mind half elves but they need to alter the model so that they’re skinnier than humans but not the same model as Belfs either. If its just humans with pointy ears I’ll pass.
The Arathi NPCs in Hallowfall use a variety of body models. Some use the basic human model, some use the Kul Tiran model, and some use the Thalassian model. The two Thalassian model NPCs I’ve gotten a good look at both use the shortest ear option currently available for that model.
