Hair of color blonde and brown for the Void Elves please

This isn’t too hard.
You claim that people in the past copied their future.
I say this is nonsensical.
Instead of saying something direct, you say that blood elves changed their name. Then you go to your friend for support.

Edit:

Now you will pretend that I was the one who started talking about it. Then you will say only someone ridiculous would even talk about copy pastes in game.

Blood Elves are the continuation of the HE story.

How is this an arguement?

Does not compute, can you speak english?

Hahahaha, for real, for real but I almost always own when it’s my fault because well that’s just me and I’m not really ashamed.

I believe so, my nice fellow. However, if you have trouble following me I may also present arguments in set theory or logical form. Please excuse me if my english isn’t up to your standard. Is this intelligible?

It was mainly about their looks.

Let’s face it:

Because you assume they always considered her.

You don’t know this. There’s no way for you to know this other than your wishful thinking.

You can keep on making that comparison but that still doesn’t work. Romans and Greeks didn’t have developers that often forget their own lore characters.

Ok joking aside, how does people copying their future make any sense?

No one even knows their future!

Exactly my friend. It is nonsensical!

However, that is my dear opponents perspective, since he thinks that the character design of one Alleria Windrunner is a copy of the later design of her sister.

Now for this to happen, a group of artists in the past, would have needed to be able to peer into their future so as to copy the later artwork of Sylvanas Windrunner.

Is this acceptable english?

Ah! Well they are sisters, they will have similiarities.

What’s your arguement exactly?

That the artists who developed Allleria’s character for Tides of Darkness could not have possibly copied paste a design that did not exist yet. Quite simply.

Do we have sources for these claims?

They are! So are void elves. And blue high elves.

Much like trolls and night elves can be in the same story.

I guess my line of division with you is that I don’t see Blueside high elves as mutually exclusive with blood elves. I love 'em all.

Well, as much as I love elves.

What would be the claim? That Alleria’s looks were designed at the time of Tides of Darkness?

Edit: War for Darkness.

Similar, yes.

A flat out recolor though? Even to the point of sharing recolored clothing?

That’s just a copy of an already existing character, because they were too lazy to give her an actual, unique look.

Not to mention that he’s even forgetting Sylvanas also existed while Alleria was around too.

That’s the whole point.

It existed. With Sylvanas.

No VEs are not the continuation of the HE narrative.

Void Elves have a Void narrative.

To interject, Alexstraza and Ysera also used that model, and they’re not related to the Windrunners.

Sometimes it’s easier to assume Bliz is lazy.

Yes, I also mentioned that Sylvanas was originally a copy of Alextrasza.

It wasn’t until later that she was given a different set of armor, even if the base model is still the same. Heck, it is still the same nowdays under all that edgy armor.

They’re high elves (since blood elves are high elves who changed their name to honor the fallen) who got dipped in the Voidberry yogurt.

This is Alleria’s character model for Tides of Darkness, which was released in 1995:

[Can someone post a picture for me?]

By character design, I mean, what would be copyrighted as original visual themes of the character, which identify it.

Given that this design existed in 1995, I conclude that it could not have been copied of a later design, which did not exist.

Are we talking current or past models here? If that is the case then yes, sylvannis did had the model first, and the new one featuring alleria is an slightly edited version of it.
