It’s always good to be back in Orgrimmar for the guild faire!
It’s also good to leave hot, dry Orgrimmar and go back to beautiful Suramar.

Giving a friendly bump!
The Saberguard are officially camped in Feralas for some of the missions with the Helping Hands coalition.
Come out and help us foil some Naga’s evil plans!
Giving ye ole recruitment post a bump.
The Saberguard is currently camped in Feralas where we are assisting the Kaldorei at Feathermoon Stronghold in their fight against a rather strong force of naga.
We have made new friends here, stirred up a harpy’s nest, delved into Dire Maul and learned some of the old and interesting history about the forest.
Once our mission is complete, we will travel back to Suramar and rejoin our reserve forces at Meredil. From there… only the dragon song could tell us where we will travel next!
After spending several months assisting the kaldorei in Feralas, the Saberguard returned home to their beloved Suramar for the annual Suramar Fox Hunt.
The hunters met on the outskirts of the city and after the rules of the hunt were given, all the participants rode into the forest to try and find the elusive and crafty foxes.
Since it is quite beneath Shal’dorei nobles to get their hands dirty with the blood of actual creatures, fox illusions were used to simulate the hunt. The illusions were provided by two awesome mages, Corvin and Rhai.
A fox hunt is a test of endurance, athletics and skill for both the hunter and their mount. Charging full speed through the forest, dodging trees and obstacles, trying to miss hidden holes and encountering creatures native to the land all posed a threat to the group as they hunted the elusive prey.
However by the end of the evening, several foxes had been captured and the hunters returned to the city without any major injuries to rider or mounts. After the exhausting afternoon, everyone gathered for a friendly social with select Shal’dorei delicacies and delicious arcwine.
As we draw closer to December 17th, the unit gathered in Suramar to practice their drill maneuvers.
The unit will have a few more practices this week before we see everyone this upcoming Saturday evening for the Annual Duskwatch Military Ball!
The Military Ball is tomorrow! The unit was just in Dalaran gathering last minute supplies and a cheese platter before heading back to Suramar for final preparations.
We’ll see you all tomorrow night!
Happy Holidays from the Paw Patrol!
To the Dragon Isles
The Duskwatch Saberguard are back and heading to the Dragon Isles!
After some time to rest from their last campaigns, the unit has been given orders from Suramar to sail to these strange new Dragon Isles.
The group packed their gear, said goodbye to the reserves staying behind in Shal’aran, and then boarded a boat for the north.
Before the ship could reach the Isles, the weather started getting rough and the tiny ship was tossed! If not for the courage of the fearless crew, the wine barrels would be lost!
The Duskwatch’s ship was forced to skirt around the storm, wasting supplies and forcing them to put in at Quel’danas in order to resupply. On arrival they found many familiar faces getting ready to launch their own ships to the Dragon Isles.
Speeches were made, warnings were given and after a few hours of friendly social time, everyone boarded their ships for their trip to the Dragon Isles.
After meeting old and new faces in Quel’danas, the Saberguard resupplied their ships and continued on their way to the Dragon Isles. This time they did not sail alone and travelled along with the Argents and a small group of Tuskarr.
The two ships and a turtle cut through the sea, making good time for several days as they made their second attempt to join the expedition in the Isles. However just as they arrived within sight of the Dragon Isles, the massive storm rose again and at it’s heart was a massive, rime covered proto-drake.
Pillars of sharp ice rose up from the depths of the sea. Hail rained down from above and Briezzilun the Frigid attacked the small fleet of ships off the coast of the Azure Span. The crews of the Argent and Duskwatch ships fought valiently while keeping their ships afloat and on course with only minor hull damage taken.
After getting caught in the rigging and sustaining many wounds from the crews of the two ships… Briezzilun fled into the peaks of the distant mountains, vowing to return for revenge.
Together, the Argents and Duskwatch finally sailed into Azure Span as they arrived at the Dragon Isles.
Why do you watch the dusk and guard the sabers? Is the dusk a danger to the sabers?
Everyone should guard sabers. Kitties need our protection!
And the dusk is just nice to sit out on a porch and watch… with wine.
The Saberguard continues with their adventures in the Dragon Isles, meeting new dragon allies and getting into all kinds of troubles in the Azure Span!
I’ll update the post soon with our adventures!
The Saberguard has been busy in the Dragon Isles!
Upon arriving to the Isles and sailing into the Azure Span, the group has had a myriad of adventures in the new land. Their very first experience, after meeting with their allies in the Argents, was to be honored with a great feast in the Tuskarr village.
The fish leaping out of the soup, chefs leaping in to stir with their bodies, and the ingredients made the Shal’dorei wrinkle their noses and question the cooking methods of their hosts.
After the feast, the group scouted the area and found a decent area to set up camp: The Acient Overlook. There they set up their first camp in the Dragon Isles.
From the Ancient Overlook, the group investigated corrupted and exposed leylines and with the help of the Argents, discovered that the Gnolls of Brackenhide Hollow are spreading decay magic. It’s seeping into the leylines, decaying the terrain and wildlife, and making portals back to Suramar impossible.
The Saberguard’s worked hard against this issue, fighting gnolls and corrupted proto-drakes. They even travelled back to the Tuskarr to engage in diplomacy for extra supplies when theirs were ruined.
Now the unit has picked up camp and moved to Camp Antonidas to assist the Kirin Tor against a giant proto-drake that has captured the Azure Archives. With the help of recently arrived blue drakes, the group intends to lure the corrupted drake out and finish him once and for all…
We are now Cross faction!!
We are now open to those allies that aided Suramar ICly during the rebellion in Legion and for those that have served with us during our campaigns through the last few years.
If you’re an Alliance character and would like to continue your service in the defense of Suramar, it can now happen! Just be prepared for running laps and flying furniture at office meetings.
Been having a lot of fun lately! Got stories on Hyjal and in Ohn’ahran Plains!
Nightborne are the best!
Just fyi.
Last night part of the unit departed Orgrimmar with Loviattar and rode to Ashenvale where they will camp and assist Priestess Lyastei with the Helping Hands coalition.
The rest of the unit remains in Suramar where numerous odd occurances have happened lately. First, Druids of the Flame were seen in Val’sharah. They were able to save a Kaldorei druid and will soon be escorting him back to his home in the forest.
While on patrol in Suramar, the unit was then attacked by fellow Duskwatch. The group was able to incapacitate the aggressive nightborne and take them into custody but the question lingers… why did their kin attack them?
Facing threats in Ashenvale, Val’sharah and within the Duskwatch itself… the Saberguard are going to have a busy time in the upcoming weeks.
For Suramar!
