An uneasy silence has fallen over Tarren Mill, and throughout Hillsbrad and Silverpine, the Cult whispers in uncertainty, sharing rumors that the dark priest Maerlyn Eldham, who has established a reputation as an outspoken supporter and zealous servant of the Dark Lady for years, has not been heard from since the events that took place in Orgrimmar several days past.
Indeed, even those closest to him have received no word or contact from the bishop of Shadows and high apothecary, save perhaps but for a few of his most trusted confidantes.
To where he has fled, none yet know, but all agree that given Maerlynâs indisputable loyalties, to show his face now in Horde or Alliance territory would certainly result in a prompt arrestâŠ

In light of the recent events of patch 8.2.5, I am sorry to announce that Maerlyn will not be delivering this monthâs sermon of the Forgotten Shadow.
Without wishing to use this thread as a platform for my own personal opinions on the story, I will simply say thank you to all who have been faithful attendees and supporters of these events! At the moment, I am looking into different ways to keep these going, so stay tuned for news on next monthâs sermon.
In the meantime, there will still be a sermon this month, but it will not be delivered by meâFiobia of <Royal Apothecary Society> has volunteered to take this one! It will be taking place this Saturday @ 7:00pm server time, in Orgrimmar. I expect that she will give further details on this in a separate forum post, which I will link to once itâs posted.

We meet again, fellow devotees of the dark!
This month, Iâm pleased to announce the return of Forgotten Shadows sermons, courtesy of the Forsaken who⊠well, letâs be honest guys, itâs been a rough few months for those of us banshee banner-waving RPers who werenât quite expecting 8.2.5 to go as it did.
But what better time than now to gather and work together to reclaim our lands and a bit of that undead pride in spooky and morally questionable things? No time like the present! 
As you may have guessed from the flavor text above, this monthâs sermon will not be delivered by Maerlyn, but by Lady Letitia Walsingham, a protĂ©gĂ© of the still-missing bishop. Same great place, same great Shadow.

Indeed it is! The original post is updated each month with new details about the time and date, but unless we are on hiatus or skipping a month (as we have been since 8.2.5 dropped), it will always be the last Saturday of each month.
I want to see the Sepulcher be cast in more shadow, the shadows created by the abundant Forsaken bodies present.
To accomplish this, perhaps we need two sermons a month?
