Are you looking for a semi-hardcore CE raiding guild in DF where you actually have a voice? Are you tired of being in a CE guild where a guild master or officers make all the decisions, sometimes in their personal best interest over yours? If so, The Counsel might be the right guild for you.
Our guild is a raider-first guild, where progression and raider satisfaction are the highest priorities. Every raider gets a vote for matters pertinent to the guild. Everyone’s opinions are taken into consideration. Decisions are made by the group, not by one person. Effectively, we are building a raiding democracy (not GM autocracy) where everyone’s voice is heard, and you earn your voice by being accountable for your raiding performance on the raid team.
The core currently consists of a tightly-knight group of veteran players, most with mythic raiding experience, looking to raid with like-minded individuals.
Our goal is to Get CE as efficiently as possible in DF on a 2-day, 6 hours/week raiding schedule. (Tuesday + Thursday 7:30 - 10:30 PM CST)
How we will accomplish our goal: Strict raid preparation and demanding gearing requirements.
Raider expectations:
-Detail-oriented raid prep + openness to feedback will be required from all raiders, including leadership, and will be monitored via WoW audit that will be publicly visible to the raid team. No secrets, just full transparency and maximum accountability.
-We expect every raider on the raid team to know their class, the boss fights, and review strategy prior to raid nights.
-We will expect you to bring personal consumables.
-We will expect you to be on time, unless a valid excuse is provided before-hand.
What you can expect from us:
-Mature, adult raiders that won’t waste your time wiping over and over again to avoidable mechanics.
-Reliability, consistency, respect, and knowledge from your fellow raiders.
-Optional YouTube watch parties to discuss bosses and get a preview of mechanics to minimize hiccups during raid.
-Guild Giveaways during certain raid nights (toys, mounts, gold, desirables, etc.)
-Cauldron, Feasts, and Vantus Runes (if necessary) will be provided by the guild.
-In-depth log analysis and discussion by a professional data scientist. Participation optional but encouraged.
