[SLAM] is opening recruitment for core raid spots within our group. We raid Tuesday and Thursday from 9pm to 12pm
About us: [SLAM] is a day one vanilla group that has seen slight change but still holds most of the same core we started with back in Molten Core. As we have progressed into Wrath, we’ve became focused on pushing our raids capabilities to kill bosses as quickly as possible while still maintaining a relaxed, open community. Our group has multiple players who parse 100s multiple times over the course of the phase, and we strive to promote a environment where everyone is enabled to have the opportunity to compete at the highest level. During The Burning Crusade we were near the top of all-star points for boss kill speeds every phase. The guild is managed by a council of seven players with multiple members who sit in on officer meetings to make sure we’re taking all feedback to continue to move our group in the best direction.
Loot: We run an open discussion loot council from 8:30pm to 9:00pm every Tuesday that utilizes a hybrid of ThatsMyBis, wishlists, and open loot council. Transparency is the foundation of this and the open discussion has allowed for us to make gearing decisions based on what has dropped to help optimize players sets during this expansion. Our biggest goal is to take care of everyone every phase.
We are actively recruiting the following:
- Resto/Ele shaman - Should be comfortable playing both specs and will function as our flex healer when the fight dictates
- Mage - Looking for a pumper who is comfortable with utilizing their utility. Willingness to play fire sooner rather than later a plus!
- Resto Druid - This will be a core healer spot and you’ll likely remain Resto for most/all fights
- Always down to check out exceptional Healers and DPS!
Community: Our guild has a very active community outside of playing World of Warcraft, we typically have large groups playing many other games together in the off time and spending time together streaming sports, movies and hanging out. The community we’ve built here has raiders who have stepped away from the game still coming back regularly to hang out and do other things. Community is first and the rest comes with it.
