We are Apocolyptic, a horde guild on Zul’jin that formed during the Tomb of Sargeras raid tier in Legion where we achieved Cutting Edge at the end of the expansion during Antorus the Burning Throne.
We are always welcoming the chance for experienced, skilled, talented players to join our ranks and help us push cutting edge content to meet our end tier raid goals. We are also always trying to increase our player base interested in pushing high mythic plus dungeons.
Raider Requirements:
Applicants should be well-versed at their entire class and not just one spec. There are circumstances or situations that may favor one spec over another, and it eases the stress of finding another recruit to fill that spot, if you are able to play more than just that one role.
We currently do not require raid ready alts.
However, If you are currently playing a spec that is under performing at a competitive level compared to others, be prepared to abide by the requirements above or have a viably geared alt.
Be susceptible to criticism. We learn from our mistakes by realizing where we went wrong and fixing it from that point forward so that it doesn’t become a habit.
Knowing the fights both from a mechanical standpoint and also in terms of min/maxing your role is something we envy greatly. Being able to perform while avoiding or doing mechanics as they are intended is among one of the most of our desirable traits. Were human, we make mistakes and we get that just as long as we learn from them. Repetitive wipes to the same mechanic may lead to benching or replacement.
We also require that our raiders have the following addons installed:
BigWigs/DBM, Exorsus Raid Tools, RC Loot Council, Weak Auras, and a Damage Meter of your liking.
Raid Times:
Weekend Team: Sat/Sun - 8:00pm-12:00am EST 6/8M
These are our core raid hours with the addition of Friday being a joint team Heroic clear (at normal raid hours) early on in progression towards the beginning of a new raid tier.[/quote]In the future, we plan on setting up a day to sell heroic carry runs to generate income for the guild as well as its raiders but this idea is still in the works.
Recruitment:
We are always open to any exceptional talent that comes our way, but we are currently focused on filling spots for
- Ranged DPS
- Tank
- Healer (Flex Dps)
All applicants must provide a way to access current and past logs.
Expectations:
We expect our raiders to be ready at least 15 minutes prior to raid time in order to clear trash up to the boss before our initial first pull at 9:30pm.
We also ask that raiders obtain the desired consumables for their role and come equipped with the right enchants and sockets for their gear.
Voice comms must stay clear during encounters so that the raid leaders may do their job with as little stress as possible in order to ensure efficient progression. However, in between pulls or wipes suggestions and other commentary is encouraged.
The Trial Process:
Our trial process lasts from anywhere between 2-4weeks all depending on attendance, performance, and overall quality of the player’s personality. At the end of the period you will receive word as to whether or not you have been selected for that role along with an explanation.
