They canāt be that unaware of their audience. They wouldnāt bother to reveal at all if that were the case.

My expectations on this expansion are not terribly highā¦ the early hype actually lowers them yet moreā¦
I think what has been bothering me about the last three expansions that Iāve been in wow to see is this .

When the game was new it was created by designers who loved the idea of WoW . a fantasy world they could go play in ā¦ and it showed when they shared it with the world ā¦and because of that the money came .
.
Now the expansions show that āopen hand grabbingā for more more more money and the developers do their best to disguise it as lovely fantasy, while hating the necessity and the players who can see through it and complain about how itās not good enough. Even though they are doing their best with what they have to work with.

If they could get back to being allowed to create without thinking in terms of money first, to at least get back to Liking the game, it would show and again the money would come naturally instead of attempting to force it . I think it would bring back a lot of players .

Now that the shareholders and banks are driving and or controlling the creative part of most ,if not all the mmo games (not just WoW), I donāt see a way to do that.

If you want a good xpac it is really simple.
Do not pre order make them earn your money.
If the game sucksā¦ quit.

Expetations are permnently low UNTIL i get details on new systems
Mine canāt get any lower after SL, theyād have to completely just keep us locked in 9.2 for another year for it to be any worse.
Donāt count on the features or story hyped in the announcement to actually be there until launch day.

They always announce features and CGI trailers together with new expansions.
My expectations are already in between the levels of nonexistent and inhuman.
I just hope the next expansion hasā¦ waterā¦ thatā¦ you ā¦ canā¦ walkā¦ onā¦
Thatās the only reason I play this game, it really puts wow above all other MMOs
