You want to ban the primary way I have fun, which is farming gold. There’s more to this game than raid logging. I highly advise you to stop being poor, find a gold guide, and start farming.

Where was this stated?
All I saw was a Blue post saying they felt GDKP runs hurt the social aspect of the game and encouraged RMT. They never said GDKP was the only reason for people buying gold or that banning it would get rid of bots and gold buyers.

How would you know? Only Blizz has the data. They never said GDKP was the only reason for RMT nor did they say banning it would stop RMT.
It’s ONE of the drivers according to Blizzard (their data) but they seemed more focused on the effect on the community which keeps getting ignored. They clearly have a dream of how the community should be playing and maybe they’re being naive but at least they seem to have a vision of what they want the game to be.

I looked up the Gut Ripper on his server. There’s literally only one, and somebody bought it last time specifically to raise the price 200g and relist it (and it isn’t listed at 3k).
This ain’t a market of buyers for a 3000g Gut Ripper like OP implies. Just another post of motivated reasoning.
