Gushing Wound Corruption Effect Reduction

Hi Bro, I am agree with you!
Please reverse Rogue nerf, we are worst Corruption User, only expect FULL GW bulid. Blizz nerfed GW 35% and pretty sure Rogue will be the worst DPS ever this patch, both Assassin and Outlaw. Sub? what’s that?!?!??!

And Rogue has worst Sec Status value compare to all other dps. If you nerf GW, please nerf Fire Mage and BM.

IT IS NOT FAIR!!!

it’s funny regardless…

dev’s are busy with shadowlands and refuse to tune classes but hey lets “balance” corruptions.

logic not found.

It feels like Blizz trapped players with all these sudden changes. I do not like the idea of punishing players because they try to optimize character growth.

Instead the corruption should have been balanced from the start and then make the appropriate changes.

If that were at all true, explain this https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/character/eu/kazzak/gushniqt

7x gushing wound (5 are bop)

Its also so powerful that a plate user would use a cloth boe with gushing because he would deal more damage that way.

But they have stuns, roots and fears. So they basically sacrifice mobility for a ton of CC

Yes, IS is the best ST. It was easier to get than GW. Gw became better when target switching came into the picture. Different things are bis depending on situation. That is balanced.

Fire/ Bm were already two of the highest performing specs. They now have access to bis corruptions that will multiply off each other.

Most other specs, that were already behind specs like fire/ bm, were looking at Gw as their option to allow them to catchup. Now they don’t.

Dead as in, they were already behind and now there isn’t really any reason to attempt to compete. Does not bode well for SL and convenants.

Yesterday I would have agreed with this. Now, they really show they have no idea what they are tuning. The same specs have been fotm for a year or more and nothing.

The GW dream died before it even made it live. Shows where their priorities are.

Don’t need mobility when you are a turret firing automatic chaos bolts.

It feels like the gushing wounds was nerfed due to PVP but I think they could have balanced it separately while keeping it strong for PVE.

Yeah I had a few friends that played a free MMO called Maplestory and one told me he dropped at least 15k over the course of like 10 years for in game stuff. It made him happy so I guess that’s all that matters.

Unholy & blood from what I understand are in good spots(I haven’t done any competitive stuff this expansion since I have no time for it right now), frost still falls short of unholy. Though I do have to say it does make me feel bad for people that did stack this specific corruption.

With every change they make in BFA, they just confirm it as the worst expansion to date.

WOD may have been empty, but at least it wasn’t filled with hot garbage loot systems piled on top of eachother.

The difference is now that the ability to target the corruption makes it stackable without stupid levels of loot luck. While I do agree that this should have always been a non-luck system, but my point is more that now that you can game the system and stack them, they were blatantly OP, especially for the corruption cost. It’s one this for one or two people to have 3-4 gushing wounds stacked in PvP because they got luck with drops, it’s another for it to become the metagame because it’s the most cost-effective and strongest stackable corruption for almost every class.

Honestly, it would have made more sense for corruption to simply just not work in pvp.

In my mind they nerfed it because now we’ll be able to target it specifically. Like they knew how strong it was before, but decided to leave it that strong because of how rare it was/how absurdly expensive it was to buy as a boe. It would be out of hand if they left it how it is, especially since gushing is only a rank 1 corruption.

Get out of here with your logic and critical thinking, you absolute madman…

TD has a massive downside of a huge corruption cost that GW just doesnt.

It was out of hand even when it was extremely rare, you COULD target it WITH GOLD AND TOKENS. You COULD get lucky and get 4+ pieces of it and then just be stronger.

You can’t defend broken strength with ‘but it rare tho’, broken is broken.

All corruption affects should be disabled in PvP completely or have their benefits cut by 85%. All I see is everyone getting bent and not called back the next morning because of lucky RNG.

The saving grace is at least with corruption something can actually die without 90% dampening.

Why do people ask dumb questions. Gushing wounds only costs 15 corruption. So that means one can have it on bracers, gloves, belt, pants, feet, ring1 and ring2.

That brings it to a total of 7 items. At 15 corruption that is a total of 105. Factor base corruption resistance with a essence you’ll get 60 (assuming you haven’t done any additional resistance). Im pretty sure in terms of damage, those 7 gushing wounds would rate in terms of DPS equivalent to a t12 TD set which costs a whooping 264 corruption.

Do you think its fair that a corruption lvl of 105 v 264 should do equal damage?
