It also depends on if the weapon specific corruptions are purchasable (I expect not).
For WW at least;
Single target:
GW was 15% above IS and 35-40% above Twisted appendage and lash of the void.
Post nerf it’ll be basically equal to TA and lash and behind IS (considering how Is sucks for everything but 3 fights) whixh seems pretty in line.
Aoe:
Lash is way higher than everything, like 40-45% over TD and GW but limited again to the Raden Weps.
Post nerf it’ll be lower than TD.
So overall it went from the absolute best non-weapon specific corruption in all cases to still the best for single target (except for 3 fights) and relatively equal to TA and lash and fairly behind TD in aoe but still 3rd (again, behind lash).
Well I kinda meant overall not just the whole gushing wounds thing. The only people I think that should be rightfully upset are those who spent a bunch of gold on boe specifically trying to buy gushing wounds. I can understand why they wouldn’t be happy about that.
Well they made that choice, and now they have to live with the consequences of said choice. Sucks for them, but is what it is. Noone said life is fair.
Ooo I forgot about lash, but oof, if it’s limited to Raden weapons I’m boned because those are agi weapons.
I’m starting to think you may be right…let’s hope that last-minuted tacked-on rent-a-effects are more problematic and unbalanced than something instituted into a new expansion from Day 1.
Wrong, as someone who gets #1 DPS now ONLY on specific bosses with x2 IF in Nyalotha, it is not OP. It’s uses are so very limited, its bad actually outside of raid.
I’m not super obsessing exact optimization outside of picking apart gear from M+ so gushing it is. Works for me as I’ll probably get the r1 before the r3 TD. Doubt the r3 TD will be up on this initial week anyway.
