It’s funny because babylonius had already updated the corruption guide for WW with purchaseable corruption (before the nerf) and it was put GW on every single slot lol.

Yes. Pre-Nerf. GW always needed tuning. GW had what? 60% of the value as lash in aoe for ww? 35% is overkill.

Do you guys know that these direct damage corruption is just as OP as those % gain? Or you just don’t see it because it’s not on damage meter? Look how much ignite does for fire mage. THINK BLIZZARD, THINK!

Well it appears shadowlands will not be out for a while but I agree that something seems off with all these sudden changes to a patch that is old.

Do you think it is ‘fair’ that this was ‘fine’ when it was rare?
It is ONLY an issue NOW that it is not rare?
It is a problem now and then, the problem is that they are nerfing it NOW because of a dumb reason.
They are not nerfing it because it is overpowered now, they are nerfing it because it is not rare anymore.
It should have been nerfed a long time ago, not now.

In a perfect world, that would be true. We all know the world isn’t perfect though. I don’t know why they change things when they do, or specifically why in some cases. I just roll with the punches and keep on doing my thing.
I can get frustrations, but the amount of shocked pikachu faces in this thread is mind boggling. I don’t see anyone that’s complained that isn’t know and has been playing WoW for at least a minute. Everyone should be use to the fact that adjustments will happen. Whether or not it happened on their schedule and they’re getting butt hurt about it is very much a self issue they need to get sorted.

I think with people being more upset is the fact that this expansions has essentially made a lot of more people upset than prior expansions. At least from what I’ve noticed is when Blizzard does something wrong, its been met with much more criticism and Blizzard just turns a blind eye and doesn’t do anything about it. They give off that feeling that they don’t care about their customers.
I don’t think they can overcome themselves after basically ignoring class balance but only balance corruptions for some reason.

They’re getting upset over nothing is the problem. So you can’t hyper stack gushing to the point you got blood coming out of your ears. Pick different effects that can work similarly well for what you need. It’s not that hard. I’ll probably end up aiming for r3 TD and r1 either IS or Gushing, or maybe a haste corruption effect (of which I might be able to swing a r2).
Why?
It’s a great system and a great break from +10 agility.
The problem is wackos who can’t handle someone else having something they don’t have.
That’s the only issue with the whole thing.
