I hope we do but then every time this is posted people immediately try to pivot it to changing the color of their bullets/arrows and it never goes anywhere.

I really miss scopes.
As a side note, it would be really cool to have particle effect enchants for arrows / bullets / bolts.

Nah, scopes are just weapon enchants with extra steps. The scopes in dragonflight were crap compared to all the weapon enchants. Being able to just use all the weapon enchants is perfect, they don’t need to make something just for us

I disagree. Scopes were in the game all through Vanilla up until Dragonflight and its pretty lame they just kinda stopped making new ones.
They are or was some range weapons that could have illusions, but Blizzard has never explained why range weapons are not able to. If it was cause of moving parts then every weapon that had extra animations would be left out. Old ammunition did have illusions for certain types.
Thor’dial still shoots blue glow arrows as far as I know
It’s usually graphical issues or not being able to bind the effect to the model. Most illusions are particles that need to be parented to the mesh or bone. It could be way they modeled some weapons that particles just cluster into a ball, or trail off.
ROFL, it took less than 1 post for it to come up …. I mean seriously, Stripp was only 1 post in front of this
