I am just going to say it…the people who HATE streamers ( who I am apathetic about) want to be the center of attention, it’s all jealousy, someone is stealing a spotlight that they want and feel THEY deserve…it’s all really pathetic.

We’re victims too. Or are they more victim than us because they’re not making tens of thousands of dollars playing the same game as us? That actually means we win the Victim Olympics here.
So, explain to me in plain and simple language why you think it’s okay to blame streamers existing, for a criminal’s behaviour?

Because the criminals motivation was to troll streamers, like i mentioned in the OP. You’re no fun at all.
So if the criminal wanted to crash servers in say China because he hated Chinese people.
Would China be to blame?

As much as I dislike the sort of attention that his streaming draws to the game, Asmongold has as much of a right to play the game as the rest of us. He isn’t likely going anywhere anytime soon.

The Streamers are not responsible. If anything, the people following the streamers are responsible by proxy of simply being one of millions of people making the streamer famous.
In other words, if you’re a stream follower, you’re guilty by proxy. You want to stop streamers from being so popular, stop making them popular by following them. Simple as that.
…not that I expect massive amounts of people are going unsubscribe from their favorite streamers because of this. “Notice me, senpai!!” is a powerful drug, after all.
