Guild POWER banning everyone from World, asking 50g to unban

I got banned for no reason from World chat then receive a private message asking for 50 gold to get unbanned. been banned for 2-3 days now… Just wanted to put this out there, trash extortion guild

Sounds like a business to me. For how much people seem to love World Chat why wouldn’t you take advantage of your position of power?

Privilages should be permanently locked by blizzard when there are more than 100 people in a channel like world. Its not just a small player channel. Everyone uses it. Unlike every other player channel. If a small private server like Retrowow was able to fix this problem why can’t blizzard? Banning someone from a player channel and then using gold extortion as a means to harass and bully said player is player harassment Blizzard. That should go against https://us.battle.net/forums/en/code-of-conduct/
It’s no different to buying gold. Its stealing people’s money
