Same thing happening to one of my buddies in guild on Wyrmrest Accord. Tried to google but all I could find were posts from early 2019, and they all suggested waiting on weekly maintenance and that it should auto correct.
Edit: Apparently I am the only one in guild not able to view my buddy’s text in regular chat window, I can still read in Guild and Communities tab, but its working fine for other guild members.
