My bags can be emptied via mailing to myself. No problem.

Bag space is such a non issue. Probably could make an addon to manage that mailbox inventory too.

I know altoholic track mail across account wide. Would be nothing to make the mailbox show like pack space sorting.

Literally no change to the “authenticity” of vanilla. All you’re doing is replacing the guild leader logging onto an alt and handing you something with just giving you an interface so that you know what’s available and have access to it.

But clearly, people prefer that if the guild leader doesn’t log on for a week, you’re just SOL if you need something from the bank.

Where would they put guild banks and how should it look?

I don’t like the design in modern wow of guild banks and rather just have another npc.

While, I don’t believe there is even a chance guild banks will be in Classic, I’ve thought that putting them only in the major cities with Auction Houses would be the best idea if they were added. Just having them in those two cities would solve any “workaround” for other rules set in place. So, just Orgrimmar and Ironforge. As for how they’d look, I guess putting another NPC in the banks would be fine. I don’t really mind the vault doors, though.
Maybe they could even increase the costs to make them more prestigious.

Smart guild’s divided those resources among multiple officers so that the absence of a single officer meant the guild was SOL.

How likely is it the GM that insisted he control all those guild resources will actually relinquish that absolute control and give anyone other than himself permission to withdraw from the guild bank?

As for that guild leader not being online for a week, tell us all how the guild leader that sets himself as the only one with permission to withdraw being offline for a week means the guild is any less SOL.

Using numbers form a different expansions for bank tabs doesnt really factor into what the reality would be for Classic. It would have to be re done to equate to monetary values of that period of the game. Otherwise it encourage gold buying and or tokens being moved to the AH
