Pancakes are definitely better than waffles. You have to eat pancakes quicker though, at least I do. I love butter and syrup on my short stack, but I hate it when they’ve soaked up all up the syrup and get mushy.

If somebody had told much younger me that I’d one day be 47, sitting at my computer on a video game forum, drinking herbal tea and looking at pictures of pancakes and waffles, I’d have laughed them out of the room. Yet, I’m having a wonderful morning.

I now wish I could eat as much now as I could when I was much younger me. Sunday breakfasts used to be scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes/french toast, fruit (sometimes) and a glass of orange juice. Followed by seconds.

Good french toast > than all others. Good french toast is also extremely rare. Pancakes are always good, which gives them the edge.
Another exception is Mickey mouse waffles at Disney world. I’m a grown man and I love those waffles like nobodies business. That may be rose-colored glasses though.
