OK, you’re convinced, and I’m not going to change your mind. I’ll post back when we start getting logs of people who can play the spec.
Don’t bother, he’s never going to say a cat or bear is any good.
Surely having an in battle res at your disposal and off healing capabilities is worth a slight dip in raid DPS…
And if it was just a slight dip that would be fine.
I mean, wouldn’t you want one for that 3% crit to group?
Absolutely, however, you better take engineering and learn to make repair bots, because you’re gonna be dead a LOT. Kitty druids are more squishy than rogues are and tend to get 1-shot, even by trash mobs.
Having a feral in your group means either you don’t have a shaman, or 1 less person benefiting from windfury. So this only applies to alliance.
imagine thinking playing the game a certain way is silly.
You obviously haven’t DPS is a feral Druid in classic it takes a lot more than manual crowd pummeler it takes big extremely well at Power shifting based off of ticks it takes a lot of consumables a lot of unique Super Bowls like Manna oils on your weapons so you can power shift more often it becomes a bill that is not viable for PVP you need a more hybrid build to do PVP and ferals can actually tank better than Warriors and 90% of contents probably 95 but unless you have the knowledge and the try-hard attitude it’s going to be next to impossible to get any guilt to give you an item for DPS over a warrior or a Rogue even as my plans are to tank I know I’m going to have difficulty with certain items like band of a curis… don’t worry sunwell content in TBC Druids can top damage meters
Do you react the same way to casters running out of Mana and wanding?
How do the specifics matter if the end result is that feral does abysmal dps comparatively?
You should absolutely have one Feral Druid in your raid for utility, just as you would benefit from one Ret Pally or Enhance Shaman, or one Shadow Priest. But more than one of each is not necessary. You could just as easily ask should I bring a Hunter to the raid even though they do lower DPS than Mages and Rogues… well, yeah, duh you should have a Hunter (two, actually) for their utility.
Numbers please
You mean the almost nonexistent raiding feral dps druids in vanilla?
Pretty sure it’s just math dude.
Exactly…
Like I’m not even asking for you to show your work. Just numbers would be a step forward.
What numbers? I’m not going to dig for numbers showing how terrible feral dps was. Are you actually trying to deny feral representation(and most non healing hybrid represenation) was terrible?
I already said it was worse. The question is to what degree and you don’t know the answer.
Hell yeah brother thats the spirit! Its 2019 and I can be a lamp that plays a Mage Tank in Classic WOWEEEEEEee making things up is neat and framing every concept in a positive light to sound modern and progressive even if its a complete crock is kewwwwwwl in 2019!!!
