A) there’s loading? B) I don’t know if I care if people camp the portal, you go through, you die, you rez on the other side 50 ft away.
Besides the mobs are already a pain, half the time, you’re better off letting horde kill you so you don’t get aoe slowed and dotted to death by the mobs.
I just wanted guards on the quest giver because turn ins and chat dialogue aren’t part of pvp.
Forgive me but I’m 110% confused…is that not what is supposed to happen on a PvP server? Is not getting ganked, camped, whatever a normal thing on a PvP server? Sounds to me some people are playing on a PvP server without realizing what it truly means to be on a PvP server and all that entails.

Its not okay when anyone does it. That and camping the quest giver. But where else will the unskilled be able to earn thier pvp ranks?

if you zone out of a portal you have the debuff that doesnt let you give honor (i believe) so they arent getting the honor anyways

Zone specific sharding is actually much better than layering, but the classic team likes to re-invent the wheel to try to make things “more classic,” and layering was supposed to be a more classic version of sharding.
Zone specific sharding allows them to do faction balancing per-zone, but the classic cultists freaked out at the thought that they might see someone disappear at a zone border so Blizzard went to the trouble to create layering instead and put the entire continent in a single shard.
People who think the game can function without either are just being delusional and refuse to accept the reality of server population and faction issues.
Keep up the good fight, soon PVP realms in each version of the game will be taken out. Stop rolling on PVP realms if you refuse to understand the risks involved.
There doesn’t need to be guards at every shared space so people can feel safe, that’s what PVE realms are for and honestly a lot of people here should never have chosen PVP realms and it shows.
